@@arbysmelloyello NV's story does alot of the heavy lifting. Wondering the desert blind sucks ass and you can't really make the most of the game until you replay it which isn't a bad thing but it's hard on new players. F3 has that skyrim vibe of just walk in any direction and do whatever you want.

It's usually officer Officer Gomez that greets you when you go back to the vault if you leave him alive during the escape.

Even better, Bethesda didn't bother to give Officer Gomez unique dialogue for Trouble on the Homefront, so he just has all of Officer Armstrong's voice lines and dialogue xD

How ironic, the vault overseer says he wants to protect the vault, but he couldn’t even protect himself from a point blank shotgun shell to the head.

Sort of redundant question then really if you are purposely breaking the game by turning essential NPCs off. I think the only normal outcome (e.g if you don't cheat and/or mod) is that the Mack becomes the new Overseer (if you kill the old one), Butch won't join you as a companion (because you killed his mother) and Amata ends up as a random encounter and will likely get killed by Enclave patrols or levelled creatures like radscorpions. Otherwise its always going to broken because you sequence broke something the game never anticipated.

I’m considered “Very Evil” (bad karma) because I accidentally shot someone in Megaton and had to kill everyone in the town because they wouldn’t stop shooting at me. There were only like 4 survivors and they run away every time they see me lol

The main reason nobody saves Butchs mom is because he used to bully the player character but the reason I didnt save her was because of the thanks she gives you during the Trouble On the Homefront quest.

Never like that some characters get plot armor in the bethesda games , like what's the point of a rpg if You had to play it only one way

in Bethesda RPGs the only way to have a character's appearance (e.g. facial hair, etc.) change over time is to make two characters and just give them the same name and voice actor that's why nothing major changed during your return to Vault 101. you didn't kill _the_ officer mack; you killed _an_ officer mack. the one you see when you return isn't the one you saw when you left. don't know offhand if amata has any appearance changes, but if so, then it's the same situation with her. if not, she may just use an alternate character definition to keep quest design and implementation simpler

Just found out on "Trouble On The Homefront" quest, if you can kill Amata and The Overseer and throw the vault into Chaos. And don't kill Butch when he attacks you in the vault. He will be at Rivet City when you exit the vault. I used a stealth boy to hide from Butch after killing everyone in Vault 101.

I think the only ways Butch doesn't leave the Vault are if he dies (obviously) or if you choose to seal away Vault 101 forever instead of opening or sabotaging it.

When this first came out I considered Buyinbg it but watched a few people play it on the tube.. I didn't get it just for the Headshots that did Nothing lmao.. Skyrim could get away with an arrow to the head but not gun shots with rifles and shit.. they didn't try very hard with FO3... I only JUST brought it cause it was only 10 bucks on steam.. lol good value for silly cartoon shit like shotgun blasts to the fast doing very little..
