This marks my first build post-upgrade/update to Fallout 4, but done on a downgraded version which I have chosen to run until the authors of mods broken by the change can update their mods to the new F4SE. Or at least as long as I am able since it is now, basically, a classic version, lol.
As for the build, I integrated all the original buildings and adapted them to a more functional-looking settlement, expanding on the scaffolding theme so it is more prominent. As for the main trade hall, I didn't change anything here, just added a lot more clutter and display to it. I wanted to keep its open feel but make it look more like an active trade area, as the Caravan trade center should.

It's pleasant to see Bunker hill settlement build from time to time. It seems like this location along with some others often gets overlooked by builders. Maybe because it is kinda messy and there is an already existing settlement here. But you did a great job detailig and improoving the place while keeping the vibe. All this little interiors cells are very cozy and detailed. Unfortunenatly I have to limit myself with interior details to keep fps at managable level, so its nice to see so much work put into details!)

Hello, my friend, and thank you! I tried to limit the structural adds just so I could work the finer details more. That was the main focus, getting it to look like those people actually lived and worked there. A little behind the build info on this one for you. I usually don't do much here either, but for this game run I've got going I have the Battle of Bunker Hill quest up next and more than anything else I really wanted to see this place kick everybodies azz! Which led to wanting to make the place like it could defend itself. And then to alive and thriving, You never know what's going to kick off a build, lol. I haven't run the battle yet, but I'm going to record it.

What a fantastic build at BH, great work my friend! Every shelf is perfectly stocked. Magic disappearing Brahmin!!! Love the interior, you’re really making me wish I had put up posters. It’s so colourful! Finally spotted the CF at 14:32. Great tour, thanks!💕

Thank you very kindly!! I would have put up more shelving but I knew I'd be pushing the stability of the place. Lucky me it only crashed once, so far, lol. The pic.s in the main hall are small size billboards that I blew up to fill the space. Figured it's the trade hall so why not billboards and yep with the CF, ya know, I almost forgot to put it in the build. Totally last min., lol. Thanks again, friend!

Another gorgeous build! I really love the proper wasteland feel you have given the place now. I personally find Bunker Hill a difficult site to deal with, mainly I guess because of the main building and the monument that take up so much of the space. But this build gives me some ideas to run with... 🤔

Thank you, my friend, I appreciate! The goal going into this was to enhance the vibe they hinted at with the vanilla, and add just a little extra to liven the place up, lol. I don't do many builds here either because, yeah, it's very limiting with what you can do in the space given. On this one what really drove it was while trying to figure out how they would logically get up on the roof to build. The scaffolding. At that point I went with it, lol. Thanks for checkin' it out and good building to ya'!

Ive never built or decorated here before but seeing stuff like this always makes me wonder why the devs didn't just try that little bit harder with some of the main settled locations. Looks great awesome vibe!

Thank ya', buddy! I appreciate that. You know me and vibes, lol. Going into this my main idea was as you say, to enhance what the devs hinted at with the site. I didn't want to do too much just because Bunker Hill is such an unstable site anyway so it came down to more deco than any major structural building. I seriously pushed the limits but I'm just glad I was able to do as much as I did and only had the game crash once on me, lol.

@@OctumLXV The new pointless auto update has killed my game and entire modlist. Bethesda has murdered my mojo for this game.

Great build. Everything looks well-used and lived-in. I couldn't do much more with mine. It kept crashing (PS4). I got quite a lot with the stores of Reeb Marina (that place itself is a mod).

I don't know what fortune was smiling on me but yeah, it stayed remarkably stable for all I was able to put in. The last build I did here crashed the game to desktop if I went the wrong direction along the back end of the site or if I fast traveled in, lol. And damn!, I missed that one, on to watch it now..., and thanks for the comment, my friend, much appreciated.

Awesome build this is how i envisioned bunker hill should be! Just read through your description and see about the update breaking mods! i have been away for a while but was planning on jumping back into the game later today... will i be walking into a complete mess of broken mods !?! 😧

Hey, thanks, and how'd the game go? lol. The only big probs were mostly any mods reliant on the F4SE. For me that was the Place Everywhere mod. It's a full on inspiration for me. Other than that the update was/is pretty cool, except for the usual Bugthesda fun and games.. lol. Prob for me is that the mod author for PE hasn't been around on Nexus for several yrs so the odds are low that he will be around any time soon to update the mod to the new script extender. That's alright though, I've got my work around. I would imagine that you should be okay, hopefully...

@@OctumLXV The game won't even open they've killed my game. I looked up how to 'roll back' the game version and for some reason i can't copy paste to steam console and im not typing out all those super long code things get one number wrong and mess it all up, so i guess its just dead for me now. I wanted to have a fallout day and make some build content but rip to that! Why do they make these pointless updates killing everyones games with no option to opt out or stick to a game version, scum bags.

@@DigitalNomad.1 I totally feel you, seriously. I wanted to shoot my face off when it all went down. Then I found this last mon., www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/81630 This is what I used to roll back my game. It's easy, just download it, unpack it, let it run and that's it. It's trusted, I removed my billing info and changed the pass after the program finished. You'll know what I mean. And then there is this one that tricks steam into thinking that you have an updated game and wont trigger an update again. www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/81471 Doing all this I just have to use my old version F4SE launcher through my vortex mod man. I hope this helps you out, my friend because I know I almost lost my mind..

Great build! Remind me, please, how do you make Bunker Hill your settlement, without just un-aliving everyone there?
@OctumLXV
@OctumLXV 4 ай бұрын
Hey there, and thanks! As for getting Bunker Hill, it's a process so here's the Nukapedia blurb "Upon completing the quest The Battle of Bunker Hill, the player character can unlock this settlement by speaking to Kessler. Alternatively, the settlement can be unlocked if the Sole Survivor gets banished from the Institute, or simply refuses to consider joining the Institute during the quest Institutionalized; this method also requires Kessler's quest Prep School to be completed. Talk to Kessler after both conditions are met." In this case though I wanted to buff up the defense here before doing Battle of Bunker Hill so I used a no quest mod to get it early. 'No Settlement Quests All DLC'.
