I'm still thinking about an anti-millionaire challenge. You'd start with a million and have to get rid of it, then finish the game. But obviously with rules to prevent the runner from just dumping it into the first container or exploiting the differences in buy and sell prices. And just buying everything means it turns into an overencumbered run, which isn't anything new and boring.

Edit: I just wanted to say this was one of the most entertaining vods and when I joined for the small part of the stream. I am excited for the video and love this challenge in fallout. I have seen it in like runescape and zomboid but fallout was such a great idea.

i take it very easy, the creator is the one setting the challenge, they set the rules, and they can decide when to modify them. If I'm not happy with that, I can always look for a creator who does it differently. (On that note I would actually like to see the different people in the Bethesda challenge community giving the same challenge a try, just to see what kind of different solutions they find) But I always appreciate interaction. So a creator that discusses with their audience on rule changes is nice. Like the 15 minute preparation run, that was changed into a 20 minute preparation run.

The issue with the mod so far, not the concept is that because the platforms are solid things, you're often creating barriers enemies/npcs can't surpass. Not to mention almost all melee enemies wont fight you as you will be deemed somewhere they can't get too. Fucking love this concept though, the OSRS version was such a fresh way to look at the game and this is no different. :)

If the mods gets an update, I would do it sort of like a minecraft chunk limit. So just limiting the area the player can enter, but not creating solid objects. I'm not too deep into the coding side of things work, but I would assume showing the tiled area with the settlement building border could work. That would also allow for tiles to be infinitely high. Again similar to minecraft expanding the play area not by placing blocks, but by opening chunks.

3:35:13 you can use the special book to rase a stat above 10 Same for the bobbleheads, if you already have 10 in that stat, they increase it to 11 So with the bobbleheads and the book you can have 6 stats at 11 and the last one at 12, and that before any bonuses from clothing/armor, legendary effects and consumables.

Here is a tip with flies, in preparation for the upcoming summer: Take a glass, put in some water, about 1-2 fingers deep. Add some juice, beer, vinegar, etc. Anything that is nice and fruity to attract the flies. Add some detergent to break up the surface tension. The flies will be attracted by the smell, but won't be able to sit on the water or the sides of the glass and sink. Might as well take a mason jar, or some old sauce glass or similar with a lid for disposal.

A tile counter would be dope. Also for us normies it would be really cool if your health could drain while you are off the tile; so maybe sometimes a loot run to a corpse would be a risk vs reward type scenario since we obviously can't be punished with gifting subs. This is a great challenge tho. It's basically exponential growth the path finding game. I love it. It drives me crazy that he isn't efficient with looting and stuff but that's a personal tism OCD tick that I have lol

I use .38 and 10mm bullets as currency by level 20 thanks to Scrounger. 2:57:00 "You though you would face a radroach, but instead, you face.... A god!" 3:19:00 Sanctuary is a deadzone for animations. The only animations settlers will want to do all the time are the hammering one, or the silly exercise ones. Other things, you assign them, and settlers just stand around staring into the distance. There's mods that try to fix that. Key word: "Try."

1:58:45 with no durability mechanics in-game, the 10mm starting pistol was only limited by its ammunition availability. I think giving the player better early access to ammo and maybe hiding the Vault 111 pistol a little better so it feels special (though Obsidian/Black Isle always had a way with their charm in this regard) would have made the game so much better. I always loved how the pipe weapons worked in the Fallout 4 sandbox but ultimately found I couldn't justify using them by the time I had gathered materials to modify/upgrade them! But the aesthetic of them was prime.

For people doing this challenge in the future: If you take the way to the Red Rocket truck stop you pass houses with 5 radroaches then when you get dogmeat there's that encounter where 4 molerats spawn, after that there's the 2 mosquitoes feasting on a brahmin's corpse, then the 20 something raiders outside and inside the museum. Not to mention this way you pick up a bit more useful gear for your adventure

With 10mm pistols, I honestly think that the reason they included two at the start was because early in development, they had weapons and armor degrade like in fallout 3/new vegas, but scrapped it later after they finished most of the vault. The reason they gave you to was for a cut tutorial showing you how to repair weapons

This is close to very good mod. There is a way to make a mod register when you kill right? So what if every enemy killed adds 30 seconds to a timer ?If the timer hits 0, you failed? You would be allowed to kill a few enemies and the time would stack, you could build up a few minutes of time before leaving a location for example. Its pretty much similar enough, but a bit more freeing and less reliant on respawning enemies.

In hindsight, I feel it's totally fair that tiles have no vertical limits, a bit like "unlocking" chunks in MInecraft, those are also from the bottom to the top. So being under or above a tile seems fair. And I think it would also be okay to take tiles and place them elsewhere. Yes, that takes away from the limitation in one way, but also means you can't move back without moving the tile back. Basically a limit of simultaneously accessible worldspace. If that means juggling two tiles, so be it, but that also adds tedium of moving back and forth just to get somewhere.
