Fallout 4 enclave weapon seems slightly broken

As soon as I got it, tested it on a deathclaw with the insane power armor parts. Put everything in the storage to probably never use it again. Ridiculous at level 15.

I'm basically carrying this and the grenade launcher which with is what I think the right perks makes the game usually so easy that I wear my power armour for the look and for protection from my own shots

@@jesuschrist.3349 grenade launcher. I wasnt lvl 15 but I oneshot enclave power armor guys with it so with the right build and a bit of luck probably easy

@jesuschrist.3349 I had a sighted boosted laser rifle with 40 or 50dmg. Destroyed the dude at the top, all the others inside were easy.

The fact that it only uses 1 fusion cell per shot is insane. I normally keep it in my inventory to deal With those pesky wandering robots and sentry bots.

Geez, as someone who just finished my back and forths into the glowing sea with a China-Lake this certainly looks powerfull! Makes me confident my mod list is infact more ballanced than the vanilla game at this point 😂

@@RC-8107 yea cuz fusion Cells you get on mass and even if you run to get it you can use the one mission with danse to get as many as they want I think or atleast a whole lot. Essentially means you don't have to kill anyone apart from one person holding it to get it be that the enclave or the one guy in the green sea

Not gonna lie. I abused the hell outta this weapon given the fact some enemies in this game were literal bullet sponges and i save my best weapons for other more powerful enemies. Still, Bethesda needs to seriously nerf it so that the game doesn't become boring with this weapon.

That thing and the grenade launcher are basically op and in and on itself the grenade launcher is easy to get and once I got that the enclave soldier was one vat crit and the rest would have been easier hadn't I tried to carry every piece of power armor they dropped out of the building. The negative on both Is that most of my deaths is just me aiming to close or the vat taking so long that the enemy just stands right in front of me.

@@Dr.delirium_ The Chinese Grenade Launcher Rifle is so strong!!! I don't know if it is different for other players, but the single-shot and magazine fed grenade launchers I found through the quest were both legendary. The magazine fed GL rifle has the 'Ignores 30% of target damage resistance', so it just obliterates boss encounters like Sentry Bots, Mirelurk Queens, Deathclaws, etc. Ammo is dirt cheap to buy too. And the 'Blast Shield' modification makes close quarters use so easy. Another one for the weapon display rack, I think :v

@@akskxixisj283 don't know what that means cuz English isn't my first language but the mods I had for it so far where chain lightning which I think caused the thing to not hurt me but also took away demage I think which I needed to even validate using it instead of the Chinese grenade launcher

I have the weapon in storage, but never looked at it. Simply stuck with my Explosive weapons and Gauss sniper rifle. At level 150, is this weapon still strong enough, or is it more of an early- to midgame weapon?

Grabbed the gun at lvl 20, useless by 50, now at 210 and it is so bad unfortunately :(

@@Dr.delirium_ Yeah its not the best, just feels like you are mashing through everyone, so i try and switch my builds and not to use the armour i used through most of the playthrough and instead wear outfits like the ones from Creation club etc

Yeah but this got nothing on the gatling laser. Charging barrels, Overdrive, bloody mess, better crits, big guns bobblehead, and tesla science magazines. Fusion cores are easy to get once your water farm is up, go to your nearest weapons vendor and trade fusion cores for purified water.

This is the original and it just feels better for me to use. Did have the chain bolt for a while but I preferred explosion over chain

I have the chain bolt mod. Very useful and has a huge range but I learned to never use it when there are other friendly npcs around because they accidentally get it. Worse if they are essential, everyone jumps on you even the companion

@@bapefromjake8372 I'm playing my first game that I want to push that far rn usually I don't play past the story to the point that I ignored the brotherhood giving me more quests and I broke Preston in my minute man run by not evacuating which intentional or unintentional made him just be shocked by my actions permanently

At higher levels it aint that good maybe its because i play on hard but its damage after a certain point makes it annoying to use cant see shit id rather just use something that doesn't blind me

Yea the visibility makes it a bit annoying. I play on normal but still. Picking up the Chinese grenade launcher I just one-shot enclave power armor soldiers and that makes it laughably easy to get the weapon. Other than the 40mm granades the ammo for this weapon is everywhere. At first I thought it uses fusion cores and that the demage would raise with upgrades but this way its for me at least just a spammable weapon that easily takes care of smaller groups of enemies be that gunners, bloat flies or ghouls. I still haven't checked what perks scale with it
