uh. Whats with you calling the Enclave bad guys ever chance you get? lol. Sure i get that some parts in the mod, and their past shows that they would be considered 'bad guys'. But thats from our world's standpoint. not the Fallout's post-nuclear, humanity hanging on to survival, standpoint. Sometimes, you got to cut off an arm so you can run. I mean the BoS other than Lyon's Rogue chapter were badguys. they hated ghouls and mutants all the same. Frankly, idk any faction that actually adores to Super Mutants other than the Master and Jacob's town. But, they ARE bioweapons and must be killed. Mutants have killed too many humans, and they eventually go mad no matter what. Other than that, i love the presentation! I like that the Enclave gets some love as i see them as the only hope for the US to get back on its feet with its resources and organization to do so. Fallout 4 always felt like the factions should hold more influence and presence in the game, more weight to them. I felt ER2 provides that.

@@SolidAvenger1290 i mean. evil in perspective. The way the original Enclave carried themselves wernt evil to the core. their plan was understandable. Their plan would have killed off all FEV infected, which were just the Super mutants and their forced infected, some ghouls, and a few humans. Your tribe was a decendant from the Vault Dweller in Fallout 1 who went into The Glow, he was pre-infected. The point of the Vault 13 dwellers were to be the control. or in this case, the batch you DIDNT want the Curling-13 anti-FEV to kill. To the Enclave, these are untampered human DNA from FEV. but what the Enclave didnt know, is wild FEV didnt spread that far from The Glow, and all super mutants were made, not naturally formed. But they didnt know that as the Vault Dweller blew up the Church and Mariposa. The Enclave made the APA BECAUSE of the Super Mutants. they made Curling-13 BECAUSE they thought the mutants had nukes. Then giving right-to-life to biological weapons, what Super Mutants generally are. As they had killed some 40% of the population of the west coast by Fallout 2. Its odd to me that fighting this threat by using human trials, to ensure you dont fucking kill EVERYONE with a virus to kill off your intended target, those infected by FEV; is somehow the most evil faction in the history of the game. That is putting the morality of a safe, warm, undestroyed America's conscious to the subject.

This is how Fallout should always be launched. With options to join 1 faction over the other. Join Enclave, work your way up doing evil stuff and eventually becoming the right hand man or even de facto leader or the region. But in doing so, you cannot join the BoS, or you get kicked out passed a certain point. You should also be able to forgo becoming a minuteman and join/start a raider gang and become de facto leaver of all the raiders in the region. Fallout 4 was pretty fun on release imo but the RPG aspects in all Bethesda games have taken a seriously huge nose dive over the years/decades. FONV being the exception.

Can you tell me how you installed this mod? It's not working for me. Downloaded it from the fallout mod section in game and the only thing that comes up is the enclave radio. So I downloaded it from Nexus mods with vortex mod manager and still No "a Rude Awakening" on pip boy and no vault 111 radio transmission. Just the Enclave radio. And I can't find any install instructions. Is there Something I'm missing? Any help would be appreciated.

Easily the best mod I've played for this game, probably the best playable Enclave mod there is. What I like is that it retains the faction's sinister shadowy identity and core ideology rather than trying to reform it. You can choose to go down that path, but you don't have to. I also like how it doesn't just suddenly roll out a massive army after a certain quest, where you really feel like you're slowly gathering strength, pulling together as many Remnants as you can, meanwhile staying in the dark and going on small precision ops all the way until the final big climax quests. Really captures that "Quality over Quantity" theme with the Enclave. I think the only thing that could be better is if, somehow, the non-modded NPC's of the game would have lines or events reflecting an Enclave outcome like they do with other factions. I can see why this wouldn't be realistic, however. My only actual criticism is that the early game of the mod is a bit steep in difficulty; a high level sentry bot that early in the game is a bit much. The questline is best if you RP a character who's utterly disgusted with the anarchistic wasteland that's replaced what was pure paradise by comparison. A shameless patriot to the core, who shares much perspective as the Enclave does: sheltered from the wasteland, a very "outside-looking-in" perspective, only able to see it as ruin and pretend-nations little more than barbaric tribes with stolen property. To them, it's like taking a country back from an alien occupation, except the aliens are dysfunctional outlaws and mutants. Also it's a cherry-on-top that the mod has no other dependencies. Other quest mods often require 4-5 other mods to fully work, this one can be played just fine start to finish on an unmodded game. It can be patched to work with other mods, but they're optional.

It’s awesome how the modders made it so the brotherhood takes over locations and occupies them as based wish that could be its own separate mod I would like to have that make the world seem more alive old boring locations being taken over as you progress the story being occupied by a faction you sided with during the story

Been playing the mod on a new playthrough; it's legitimately hard to imagine this isn't part of base-game. Seamless voice-acting, engaging plot with good pacing for building the Enclave back up, and a legitimately good reason for the Enclave to confront the Institute and other factions. Not done with it yet, but I'd say this mod is a must-have for Fallout 4.

Finally got around to downloading this mod and after only and a couple hours in, this mod is TOP TIER! I don't understand why Bethesda didn't bring back the Enclave in some fashion. Even though they were beaten in both Fallout 2 and Fallout 3, there would still be plenty of replacement candidates for the presidency to take up the Enclave mantle. I really like the Enclave armour. I don’t normally pay attention to these Mod DLC videos since, more often than not, the best ones are only for the PC Master Race. But I have to give thanks for bringing this one to my attention. I’d passed on the first America Rising since I figured it couldn’t be that great. But AR2 is just…there are moments where I gotta remind myself that this DLC Mod wasn’t made by Bethesda. I loved FO4 but I always found the factions (even BoS) lacking. But AR2 lets you play your pseudo Evil Empire power fantasy to the max. You know an “evil faction” is well done when you actually forget you are the baddies.

I wish they would do this for the minutemen and gunners. To me they were the paramount factions in the game but not fleshed out enough. Honestly the Institute should have been less of a thing and BOS was just there to harvest tech.

(Minor Spoilers) So, I’ve just finished the mod and here are my thoughts on the Ward, Whitehill dilemma. Ward wants to exterminate the people of the wasteland while Whitehill wants to dominate them. This definitely makes Colonel Whitehill a much better option but it doesn’t mean that she is not her own brand of sinister. I would argue that The Enclave under her command is still closer to evil then morally neutral but definitely not as bad as there predecessors.

Started using this enclave mod and its a genius mod. Me and my one buddy use to always talk how fallout should have made an actual decision or opportunity to join the enclave. And with this mod you get to do that!!!

Can I ask? What is the principle to choosing a mod order? (Or does the game make it for you when you run a modded game?) I mean, what kind of mod categories go up the list? Say, additions (weapons, clothes, locations) go further up, to load first, followed by graphics stuff? (I am returning to Fallout 4 after a few years, and back then I was not playing with mods at all, so this is a worry: not to mess up the mod order and screw up the game several hours or days in.)

Can someone tell me how you installed this mod? It's not working for me. Downloaded it from the fallout mod section in game and the only thing that comes up is the enclave radio. So I downloaded it from Nexus mods with vortex mod manager and still No "a Rude Awakening" on pip boy and no vault 111 radio transmission. Just the Enclave radio. Something I'm missing?

The story actually makes more sense than the base story. I always had a problem that the main male character he is proud ex soldier. He was due to give a speech at the veterans hall. So if he is part of the Enclave it make sense how they got approved so fast for the vault. Why would the Institute target them not anyone else? Well, it isn't just the child we know that as the main character is called a back up. If you are from the Enclave it makes that much more sense. I personally like the idea and now want to reinstall the game and play it.

dunno for certain but in AR1, the quest marker was there as soon as you left the vault.

I look for a mod list to turn Fallout 4 into hiking, camping and survival simulator. Remove all npcs, preferably change map to some nice mountains and forests, add camping gear, etc.

I just wish it had the ability of tying into the story more seamlessly. Maybe add in separate groups for each faction that could actually deal with the Enclave. Let's say you want to go Railroad but still want the content of AR2 or how they'd react to the Enclave. When I first loaded it up I thought it was just a side story but pretty quickly I found out I was locked out of the Brotherhood, understandably. While I don't mind playing as the Enclave, maybe in another run I want to play BoS and I want to create Mariposa 2: Fusion Boogaloo.

I actually just started on this mod with a general LO on my new SX. I did encounter a rather funny bit with Peterson who constantly kept falling down things and simply not getting up for those sections. It's not game breaking but rather amusing.
