Hate to be a killjoy or whatever, but petitions have nothing to do with possibly getting external assets on PS4. It would have to be basically a business deal between Bethesda and Sony. Sony are withholding external assets because of legal issues, they already know everyone wants external assets, there'd be no reason there would be anyone that wouldn't want external assets. So yeah, they get it, and the petition won't change their decision.

Sony has underestimated how important PS4 mods are to alot of people. By the time they have realised it will be too late and people will have jumped ship to the Xbox One or PC.

+Starfish_central I'm sorry to be the "arsehole" here but just over 3k subs is a drop in the bucket. You can say I told you so if they do, but I doubt Sony will ever allow for external assets, because of the obvious reason that has already been stated (hackers)... I'm not saying mods aren't good, but I highly doubt that the majority will have "jumped ship" because the mods they are getting are shit in comparison to other consoles. Also, sales aren't gonna drop drastically either. The pro sales might not reach their target, but there's probably the same amount of people on ps4 that haven't/don't use mods as the people that do.

I'm surprised you didn't mention the 'Plenty O' Exploration' mod. It adds several locations in Concord and around Vault 111 and they are all brilliant. I especially love the trailer it adds near Vault 111 for reasons I will not disclose.

Something I have to say because I want people to be careful: I installed a couple of mods this morning and they litteraly broke my PS4. I had to unplug it a couple of times, restart it multiple times and Fallout 4 crashed 2 times when I tried to open it. When I finally managed to launch the game, I deleted all mods and restarted the console and it fixed the problem. I was probably just very unlucky, but I want people to know that console mods are not 100% safe.

The modders did a great job with PS4 despite such restrictions. We might not be able to get different textures for power armor, weapons etc but they are still very fun. Maybe Bethesda will even update to give modders more internal assets to work with. That would be cool. Hopefully they will get even better in the future.

if anyone is having trouble downloading the last mod he showed do the following and it may work, sorry if it doesnt I'm just trying to help: download what it says in the description on the mod and download whatever one works for you the mod needed it called armor and weapon keywords community resource or AWKCR for short, there are multiple versions of this mod so download what one appiles for you like there is one for all dlcs, no dlcs, etc. download AWKCR first then download the last mod on this video that's how I got it to work

UCO can also do things like make armour invisible, remove legendary effects so you can place them on different weapons and change the colour of clothing and armour.

EvenSpelen Officieeel Happened to me too, you downloaded the oil rig player home it adds borders to sanctuary vault 81. Basically a huge mess so don't download it until it's fixed. Hope this helped. Ps. The borders were added because the modded removed part of the east border and added it to sanctuary and vault 111.

TwoDynamic I must ask, how did you get guns in video (unless they are just clips you took and not guns you made with wacky weapons mod yourself) How did you get them working in first person mode, I spent about 1 hour using the mod and pretty much every weapon I made will not fire in first person view, only in 3rd person mode! It's annoying as this is one game I actually prefer in first person mode. I got one weapon I customised that worked in 1st person mode.
