Far Harbor has some of the best environmental music I've ever heard in any video game. Inon Zur is a genius.

20:20 The first time I heard this track was when I met DiMA, it really fit the whole "Arcadia, Synth Refuge" sorta bigger-than-life feel that faction gave off.

15:38 i clearly remember hearing this for the first time and just put my controller down to listen. It was the first time in the game that i was genuinely impressed.

Terrifying and beautiful at the same time. That feeling when you imagine somewhere there are monsters lurking in the swarm, ghost towns which were wiped out by ghouls, cannibals or monster, the fogs invasion. And somewhere people still trying to survive. Far Harbor DLC was what Fallout 4 should have been. Well written quests, the brutal outcome, the dark stories, the fear wandering, and the sorrow. The last of Bethesda's signature work. The DLC could be the last thing the developers could have the freedom to give it their true love. FO4 was rushed. Nuka World was a disgrace. The only thing that can drag me to replay FO4 is this DLC!

Just listening to all the music of Fallout 3/4 and DLC again after watching Fallout series. We need a well developed Fallout 5 now!

It's fucking terrifying, y'know, lol. Exploring Far Harbour at level 10 is terrifying, especially on Survival mode. I can peer through the fog with 5:05 on, just like @luisduardobejante917 and I can just about see the image of a pack of ghouls, within Atom's veil. It terrifies me lol.

My OC is going to eventually become a Child of Atom. A genius following the concepts of immortality before the war. The effects of radiation, antibiotics, all sorts all involved not some kind of healing power, but killing what was causing the body harm. Cancer is killed by radiotherapy. Disease is killed by antibiotics. And so, my OC began to experiment and testing with these concepts, believing that immortality would be achieved through killing ALL impurities in the body, even the tiniest germ. Kill off the germs. The dying cells, the aging ones. My OC was hellbent on learning how to achieve immortality, but sadly they would succumb to the war before they could achieve this dream. They were a doctor of sorts, one that would change the world. The one to cure cancer. To cure aging, and they would stop at nothing to achieve it. During their studies, my OC met a fellow scientist, who at which they had begun a relationship. Years pass, they get married, and eventually had a child; Shaun. My OC's dreams on immortality and studies on it were eventually halted due to their fatherly love for their child. Shaun was a new light in their eyes, and not even their greatest ambitions could outweigh their love for Shaun. The war came round and then they had to go to the vaults for cover from nuclear warfare. Being experimented on for cryosleep, upon awakening, my OC, (who's name is Martin) was terribly distraught. Martin's life. His child. His beloved wife. All gone. Now out in the wasteland, Martin would stop at nothing to find his son, sadly knowing his wife was dead. After going through hell and Earth to find his son, Martin eventually realises that his own son is now an 80 year old man, close to death. Deppressed that he could never watch his beautiful son grow up, learn to ride that tricycle, read a book, get their first job... Martin could only cry in sadness knowing that he truly had a new life before him. Apologising to Shaun for not being able to be a father to him, Martin simply left. He left the Institute, knowing that he truly had nothing left, and so would now have to begin a new life of his own. Having a good relationship with Nick Valentine, Martin began to work on cases with him. They come across the Nakano case, and travelled to Far Harbour in search of the family's daughter. While there, Martin comes across the Children of Atom, and their concept of divinity through "The Glow" ... Martin seeked refuge with the Children of Atom. Due to his exposure to radiation over his time in the Commonwealth, his body had begun to mutate, responding to Radiation differently. Radiation began to heal his wounds, despite giving him fatigue, hairloss and slight burns. Martin, releasing this, began to question if it was Atom offering strength to him unknowingly. Martin came to realise that immortality was not possible, and also doubted the concept of Division. Martin began to venerate Atom, but unlike most Children of Atom, he did not seek divinity from him. Martin desired power, strength and protection from The Glow. In his eyes, The Glow changed beasts. Feral Ghouls into Glowing Ones. Martin saw that Atom's power was not to gift divinity, but to mutate, and strengthen the beasts of Earth. Embracing radiation's warmth like a hug from his wife, Martin seeked to spread the Glow over many areas, seeking worthiness in Atom's eyes, and be seen as a wrath of Atom's will, striking out raiders and impure beings such as disbelievers in his name.
