Just want to make a second comment. I keep coming back to this video. Literally gets rid of headaches and helps me get through my day. So thank you again and I hope this never comes down. Out of all the ambience videos, this one beats them all. No sharp noises, the fireplace alternating with the insect ambience is spot on. The wolf howling gives that familiar timeless morrowind feel

I still remember standing on top of the lighthouse and watching him sneak around to his tree stump at night. It was the first time I had seen NPCs have a routine and I was amazed that the characters really behaved that way
@thisdude936324 күн бұрын
@@murder.simulator It's easy these days to forget that both Morrowind and Oblivion tried to do things with NPCs that, to that point, really hadn't been tried in certain ways before. People can complain about Bethesda and make all the same talking points until the sun goes nova, but Morrowind, Oblivion, and Skyrim are objectively special games that each shaped the face of open-world RPGs.

Morrowind's music was equally as awesome as Skyrim's. This obviously comes as no surprise, since it was none other than Jeremy Soule's work. And ALSO obviously, the primary theme from Morrowind ended up returning for TES V and turned into something even more legendary with the "Dragonborn chanting". :) I've had a lot of composers craft some lovely pieces for my own series ("Diamond Dragons")... but I often wonder what it'd be like to work with Jeremy. Either that, or I'll just have to start learning how to work with software to create music from my own ideas and A-Capella harmonics I've recorded over the past 6+ years. 🐲✨🐲✨🐲✨
