I just tested as of 6/16/24 and this still works (XBOX Series X) - on the xbox controller for the rinse and repeat store/scrap part it helped me immensely to 1) press X (scrap) hold and then slide that finger over to B (store), 2) while still holding down B (store) you can now safely press A Scrap then YES store.

You can go way over 10 if you take drugs to lower your stats. Once lowered, pick up the book and bring it back up to 10. When the drugs fade, it will add to over 10 on your stats. This also removes the limit.

@@ChefkochsWeltI don't think it matters after that you just have to get the special book on the screen. Just maxed out all my stats an hour ago. If you have a hard save you’re good. Don’t pick up any bobble heads had to backtrack for that. Ps5 btw

You can be level 1 for this. You don’t need the knuckles, you can use your 10mm Pistol. Just need to get the timing right, once you have it down you’ll be golden. In my last FO4 Save all my settlements was connected and built up fully cus you can dupe all your resources as well, this glitch is amazing 😂

If the steel pops up in your inventory you have to rename knuckles "s" not "x" worked for me:)

I suggest that after you do the knuckles glitch to hard save the game. If you accidentally scrap the book well its gone. Soo make another save!

Still works A couple things to note… Don’t need the knuckles You can rename any weapon that you can modify. I used the 10mm pistol. Timing is everything Don’t give up Keep trying to get the timing down

The knuckles don't have to be bladed, works with other mods as well (e.g. sharp or spiked). Confirmed that yesterday after testing (on PC, maybe that makes a difference). Will test again with other weapons, I guess it should work with every weapon renamed as "x" and modding it with any mod.

On PC once you scrap your weapon, click on Modify again (instead the right button of the d-pad) and apply any modification.. I used a pistol instead of the knuckles

PS4 shows special book already having blades applied after scrapping bladed knuckles. Throwing it on ground and scrap wont appear as option from workbench mode.

If you got the dlc that gives converbelts you can drop a special book on it and then let it go into the conveyer storage but right before it goes in you grab it but it has to be timed right and sometimes the game will remove the duped item from your inventory but sometimes it works perfectly. On console make sure not to install automation it crashes the game on home screen. Every other dlc works but a ton of missing textures but they still function.

If you have a boble head build a stand for it and get it out if your inventory. And when you name the knuckles x back out first so that it saves the name

I am having a problem getting it to work on the PC i just started a no mod all dlc run and I spent 8 hours last night trying to get this to work ALL NIGHT LONG clicking scrap store at various intervals, I can dupe items ok by dropping it on the floor but I cant make the book get to the scrapable stage i am using knuckles renamed lower case x nothing on me but the x and the you're special book in my inventory. I have a Nostromo n52 pad that I can program to do specific keypresses if anyone knows exactly the order to press and release each key in what order but i cant even do it manually. i have gun nut perk so i will try with a 10mm pistol like some in the comments have said.

@@bby8230 I figured it out, you need to change the name of the Knuckles, to x, that's the step I forgot. Also, make sure you have nothing else in your inventory, besides the You're Special book, and the Knuckles.

Hi first ty for your video - I tried to put the blades on the Special Book, but everytime when I get to the same point like you (at 5:48) I press A (Scrap) and after that it shows up a Steel Bar that I could upgrade, but not the Special Book. So the problem probably is you didn't get rid of everything in your Inventory so Instead of going to your special book it will enter your junk

@@resintogud999 I found the solution - and it was mentioned by someone else on redit. Rename the Knuckle to the Name of the Special Book in your Language you play! I am from Switzerland and play it in German - So instead of X, I renamed the Book to "Du bist S.P.E.C.I.A.L.!" and it worked on the first try. Maybe that could help other that had the same problem like me. Best wishes + ty!

@@Rangers2206 Yes Bro. It's tricky but it's possible. Just try to push and hold scrap button (square) and at the very same moment you are about to releasing it rapiddly press store and hold it (circle) try that way until you get the timming for the 2 screens togheter
