Hit chances are maxed at 95%, which sets an upper limit on effective Perseption. A limit of 30 on Intelligence doesn't make sense because you can temporarily add 35 to your Intelligence through doing the ASL level thingy with the hubologists.

Not true. Effects will definitely be there when your special are at let’s say 100 vs 30. 100 in STR, END means much more melee, unarmed damage, carry weight and HP, than those stats at 30. 100 in INT = much more XP, 100 in AGI much more AP, 100 in LCK much faster crit hit regen.

You can actually use the duplication glitch for ammo. Have dogmeat get the ammo before it gets stored and when he drops it save and quit, and when you come back instead of one bullet it will be duplicated

Or you can use the item duplication glitch, build the ammo production machine and place all the required materials in the machine. Let the machine run while you're making endless traps to level. Much easier and far less annoying.

For caps the easiest way is to use the Dogmeat-pickup-glitch to have him carry as many fusion cores as you want. They are the single most expensive, non-legendary item. Take along Dogmeat to any vendor, take out enough cores to buy everything you need and/or carry, and clean them out of caps. This will also quickly give you more than enough stuff to scrap to allow you to build to your hearts content. If you are able to invest in the stores they will also give you those lovely weightless supplies. With enough fusion cores on Dogmeat you can drop everything you can't carry yourself, get Dogmeat to pick it up for you, and be your hauler to carry it to a workbench. Where you will take everything from Dogmeat and immediately dump it into the workbench so you won't have to worry about stenuous overload damage even in survival mode. Have fun hauling everything. Or cheat. I don't care.

These glitches are mind boggling. Looked up the resource glitch like two months ago after reading about in some comment section and after getting it to work it literally broke the game for me. Plus I’ve been farming xp with wooden posts tediously to get a quick perk here and there. Then I did some more looking recently and found the shelf and the safe xp farm that’s way less tedious since they stack, and now these?! Man it’s my first play though so I think I’ll just try these to learn them then reload without them so I can still have some dignity for finishing this first run. On my next run I’ll definitely start at 10 across the board and farm the do for crafting perks. Thanks for the video this information was amazing.

Use the materials glitch to dup resources then... Start by making bear traps and eventually move to the top end grenade. Note: once the count of the materials surpasses 32k don't attempt to make more or it will reset to 1 if you try and duplicate that stack again.

For the conveyor belt glitch. Put a container at the end touching the vacuum. Then put the stuff you want to dupe in there. As for ammo throw your ammo in the container, and have dog meat grab it. He’ll bring back one bullet, but if you read it it will show the amount you have. Drop your stack you have in your inventory next to the single bullet. Exit Game, and reload. There will be two (or how ever many time you did it.) boxes on the ground. So you can dupe ammo.

@@charliegang6075 Switch to survival difficulty, sleep until well rested, then eat any cooked meats or soups that boost your character SPECIAL or any other stats. Then take Radaway. Food effects become permanent and you can do this process again for infinite stat increases. You know those modded or console commanded characters with 1000 or something ridiculous in special stats? Yeah, you can make that happen using this glitch in vanilla, non-modded game on console. The limiting factor is only how many meats you can find or craft. And there are exploits for that as well. The crazy part is that this glitch has been around since survival mode came out in 2016 and most people don’t know about it and there’s not a single mention about this in fallout 4 exploits wiki page.

That's not a bad idea, I may consider this as future content. For now, to help answer your question, I usually stick to the minigun and pipe pistol as my base weapons and add mods from other weapons onto them.

One thing you dont mention is that if you are on PC DO NOT USE OR MOVE THE MOUSE during the Scrap/Modify process. Use Keyboard only. If you move the mouse over the menu while both menus are up you lose the ability to apply any mods. Took me a while to realise I had to scoot the mouse out of the way BEFORE scrapping and use the keyboard only

@@cf7922 I don't think you can use the console to apply a mod to a weapon. You can spawn the item of the weapon mod, but I haven't seen a way to add the mod to a weapon. Perhaps someone knows the commands better than I do.

No problem at all, it's a solid way to make some quick caps and it's easy also. It's a cycle that needs very little setup and can be repeated as many times as you want. Just make sure you don't exceed about 5k caps as sometimes the caps do disappear from your workstation. I would suggest you take out the caps when you reach around 3k to 5k, rinse and repeat.

If you can’t build stores the gunner cage from wasteland only requires steel, copper, and 500 caps and you can abuse it way earlier

So today I used the National Guard Training Center for the legendary farming and I discovered something by accident. I cleared the outside completely first and alerted a legendary enemy around the back in the yard. I thought oh man I f’d up, and ran to the front door and saved while still in the caution status. When I entered the door, I waited for my status to clear and he loaded right next to me. I killed it and still loaded the other legendary enemy in the back. While doing the method that first legendary enemy kept loading in next to me while the one in the building went through the actual process. The first one would ALWAYS load with the exact same legendary weapon (or armor, mine was a weapon) and effect while the second one would change accordingly. IDK if this would do the same thing for everyone but that’s how it worked for me. I ended up with an instigating assault rifle for the first one and an endless combat rifle for the second one. Turned into a 2 for 1 deal!

Edit: I got it to work on a new save before anything was in my key items. The first glitch doesn't work now. Instead of the You're SPECIAL! book, it brings up the scrap you just made or your vault suit when you do the scrap/mod step.

To be safe it's better to remove all gear and only do the 10mm and book... timing is everything when pressing X and B it's better to have both hands hovering over these buttons and don't let go of the store button when pressing the A button good luck 👍

Yes, the glitches shown in this video all work in the latest update. Simply said, no existing glitches have been patched in the latest update. They all still work.

the glitch work with weapon have some kind of same mod slot. Example: mele mod only can attack to mele weapon +Receiver , barrel, handle, nozzle, sight, magazine of another weapon... can only attack to the same " mod slot" of another gun , (ex: the Harpoon gun 1st mod slot is magazine mod, it can only attack to the weapon have magazine mod so I can't dupe gamma round by attack harpoon mod to the gamma gun) +certain weapon have some kind of similar model like : Laser musket and laser gun (the nozzle quite similar); and mod the barrel- laser medium (it seem doesn't break the lore since Laser Musket crafted from salvaged laser gun); and completely swap every mod between Institute laser and normal laser gun Combat shotgun and combat rifle (attack .38, .308 combat rifle receiver to the combat shotgun to make October's, November's child): the gun still look the same but it use another bullet kind like December's child Guns have same numbers of mod slot are more easy to perform the glitch. (ex laser Musket can only attack the muzzle of weapons like: Pipe bolt action gun, Pipe grenade gun and the Gauss Rifle since It's muzzle in slot 4th.) +Some mod give the weapon unique projectile: flamer, incinerator, plasma, gamma gun's barrel, Laser gun's muzzle, rocket launcher's homming sight, harpoon gun 's Magazine, Fat man receiver.

I mod the minigun with gamma gun signal carrier (add energy damage, but only NPC can use the gun) and combat shotgun barrel /plasma spreading barrel /gamma barrel and give it to the Provisioner , ha ha they seem to hold the gun and fire any where on the way (due to the Nozzle' animation). The shotgun can be mod with : Plasma gun spread barrel and laser spread nozzle to make 5 x 5 (?) more projectile. The Laser Musket can be glitch with Laser sniper barrel (it reduce the capacitor bank- crank point by 1) , the nozzle mod with silencer (of pipe bolt action gun, or Gauss Rifle) or gamma gun's signal carrier, sniper handle for the look, Plasma gun Comfort handle to make the game confuse and give bonus with 2 perk: riffle man and gun slinger => It make the singed crank damage up to around 400 point

@J-R5790 as I recall, it works well with the first mod of a weapon but for second, third etc it may not always work. I have had some luck with the second, third etc mod but I had to play around with names etc to get it to work. The reason why I did not mention that is because it's very random and somewhat would have taken away from the core purpose of the video.

You can glitch with every mod slots not just the 1st slot : if you want to swap certain slot; the sacrificed weapon slot number must be the same as mod slot number in workbench menu=> name addition weapon 01, 02, 03.. etc) ex: swap Charged sniper Laser barrel to the Laser Musket: Rename random gun: 01; laser gun: 02 (because the laser medium in mod slot 2nd so the sacrificed must be number 02 to be appeared in workbench menu's weapon slot 2nd) ; the Musket: 03 right after the sacrificed do the glitch: in workbench: highlight 01; press scrap + select + move cursor to 02 in the same time (or after millisecond- it is just little more advance and trickier) and do the rest like in video. (it easier to do it in pc since there is mouse control to move cursor)

Im having an issue with the xp glitch, I get to the point were I have both the robot menu open and the trade menu, but when I go down to torso, it keeps saying i dont have the rescources to craft, so i think its still making me craft. I will say though that is using the depad button, i can shuffle through the trade menu with the joystick and it not make me craft, but im not getting any XP from it. If you know anything that will help, it would be much appreciated :). Also idk if this changes anything, but i am using dog meat as the companion.

I have tried the glitch with Dogmeat myself and its worked on my side with no issues. I would suggest you try with other companions and make sure that you can actually craft an autromatron with a torso before doing the menu glitch.

If i were to take the deliverer for instance and change part of it into a plasma piece, does it keep the damage of the original weapon, but shoot bullets that LOOK like the plasma weapons? Or does it change the value of the damage? I ask because i was thinking about doing something like this, but i didnt want to use the Missle Launcher, or the Fat Man. Sure, explosions are fun, but i wanted to experiment with other alternatives

I have tried this myself (not the same weapons you mentioned but others) and have mixed results. Undeter the hood the weapons are all programmed differently so in some instances I found bullets depleting from the weapon correctly but the damage being applied as per the mod and vice versa. In short I don't have a solid answer sadly.

Okay, so like with duplicating items with the intention of selling them for caps how do you get the people to carry more money after getting the seller's perk? I only get about 400 caps per person. Am I doing something wrong?

It's not a perk I use very often but rhe Caps Collector (I think) increases the amount of caps you can get via selling and buying your vendors. It's probably what u would use yo effectively increase a vendors cap amount.

That last glitch got me thinking, though. If a player picks up an item at the same time a campanion does, would it still dupe? Thanks for your comment. Yes it's possible. For instance ask a companion to pick up a legendary weapon and while they are doing it pick up the weapon yourself. And it should duplicate.

Cleared locations are not permanently cleared. It would make sense, but the game would become empty and boring very quickly. I forgot how long it takes to reset the area, but it will have enemies to kill again though named NPCs like Ack-Ack or Jared do not respawn. I think it is around an in-game week for enemies to spawn in the location and the map no longer shows it as cleared. If you are working with the minutemen, you might have to clear the same location more than once.

Yeao that's right. I actually did some homework for this in my recent farming spots video. It's about 2 in game weeks on non survival mode and upto around 39 to 80 days on survival mode. And yes names NPCs never respawn.

They work just fine on PS5 (and PS4). It’s all in the timing. You press and hold square, and as soon as you release it, you press and hold circle, and holding that, you press x twice.

Tricky to get the timing down but you basically hold scrap and let go of it whilst holding store with a bit of a delay. You'll eventually get it down.

When I try the scrap/mod glitch (at 3.56 in your vid) I do get the you’re special book shown above the mod window after scrapping the weapon but it won’t let me mod the book. I have the options for the mods slots in the window below on the left, but there are no available mods and there are two other windows on the right which have a locked symbol which indicate required perks but no clue as to what they might be. I’m on ps4 , and I downloaded the game using the ps4 subscription. @trappedinfallout any ideas what i might be doing wrong pls?

I'm sorry to hear you're having issues. This actually happens when you can't craft the mod you're trying to use without the glitch. So, make sure you can craft the mod on the weapon you're using without the glitch. Next use the glitch and use the same mod on your weapon, and as a result, you should be able to use it and, in turn, complete modding the Special book. I hope this helps.

I doubt it - I have never seen a moving vehicle in the game - well I have fly vehicle in the game using some basic physics tricks but nothing that moves on it's own.

This may not help, but you have to find the correct name to rename your original scrapped item to. This typically happens if you have quest items or other resources. The glitch itself works because the You’re SPECIAL book is replacing the original scrapped item due to the game replacing the scrapped item with the closest named thing. “y” works for players with limited inventory items because “y” = “Y” in You’re. I’d try naming your item a few different letters, one letter at a time. It DOES work, it’s just more challenging. Good Luck!

Chances are that you already switched to Survival once and then back. Sadly in Fallout 4 if you switch to Survival mode and then switch back, you can not switch back to Survival Mode again in the same playthrough.

When getting penalties from Survival, I wait a day and boost my stats up to 10, then wait another day. The reason is because once a stat goes to 1, it cannot go lower. So if you don't let a stat get to 1, you will make the most of your penalties. Another tip, you'll want Tattered Rags, which give a -1 penalty to Luck. You'll want to wear it while getting penalties from fatigue/hunger/thirst. You can't do it afterward, because the stat needs to be below 10 to use "You're SPECIAL!".

(Or vise versa) My confusion was that you had to hit them practically at the same time and also not releasing the scrap button as well. Raising your special points above 10 isn't a glitch; when your stats are at ten and you have modifiers like clothing or perks your stats go over 10 anyway. I've read elsewhere in the comments that raising them above 30 has no effect, but I can attest that having them higher than 10 is actually crucial in some interactions.

There are a couple of duplicating glitches in this. Essentially it's all about button timing really. As you can see I did at times not get the right button sequence and I've been using these glitches for years now.

I had the same problem before the update. I had to disable the workshops dlc and only load the game with nukaworld and Far harbor dlc instead and it works. But after the update everything was fixed.

You can duplicate stackable ammo and fusion cores. You just need to know how to do it. I’ve duplicated Fusion Cores, .45-70 ammo, Buka cola quantums, mini nukes and a couple other limited items in the game.

There is another option, you could learn about the glitches and then not use them if you feel they'll it makes you stop playing. I've been playing Fallout 4 for almost 10 years now and I've known about the glitches for just as long and still play the game. I have runs where I do use glitches and others where they are glitch free. It just so happens I play Minecraft also and do exactly the same thing.😃👍

Why go through all that and just use console commands? If you want to hack an aspect of the game there is a command for it. Quick and easy and you go on.

As a programmer and Computer/Electronics Engineer, I find more options with games including programs on a PC format. A PC will also allow me to get better performance with better hardware and allow for upgradeability for good performance down the years instead of having to buy the newest console. And a PC will allow me to do other things other than gaming. :)

The reason why I didn't use the Piggy Bank is because it uses Piggy Bank Ammo when using the mod on other weapons. When using the MIRV, it uses the base weapon ammo hence the glitch. Had I been missing any resources, then the option would have been greyed out, and the game would not have allowed me to craft the mod.

It really depends on your point of view really. To someone who has been playing for years now it's basically a shortcut. Unlike other Fallout games 4 does not have a level cap so eventually you would reach the same level anyway with the same stats etc.

anyone who does this dumb glitch might as well just go into console and enter god mode. if youre gonna cheat to become over powered then you clearly dont care about enjoying the game and just want to play on easy mode. Skip this whole video. Set your game to easy mode, type ~ and then in console type TGM for god mode. Or you can set the special stats in the console if you know the commands and take much less time than this glitch

I had trouble with the first glitch. You're Special would not appear as a mod, only the steel gleaned from my scrapped gun. Renaming the gun is the key to this. Use a lower case "y", NOT an upper case "Y" and then it works!
