Coz the game tends to have a sht ton of bugs😅 specially now after the update.

I've built something similar but in the Mechanist Hideout as the factory stuff blends in well with the location. But mine isn't a Death Machine but in fact it's a huge recycling plant. All of my caravans converge in there and the machinery pulls out all the junk from every settlement and separates them into components to be then put back into the workshop inventory. I can watch all of the stuff pass by in the conveyor belts for hours no joke. It's like watching a model train rolling around, it's so relaxing.

Then i got my machines that pull up all of the junk from said inventory. The supply lines system is a perk in the game called "Local Leader".

Seeing these murder factory builds always brings me an evil chuckle. I always build battle royale arenas with deathclaws, raiders, ghouls, gunners, etc. You'd be surprised to know it's usually the humble veteran gunner who usually survives... until I flip another switch and the main guns open up on him. After it's over, flip another switch and all the bodies get conveyor belted to the auto-butchers, sorted and further processed into raw materials and finished goods like Soylent Green and various wasteland recreational drugs. Yep, being a drug lord in the post-apocalyptic Boston wasteland is money.

My Fallout 4 Character The Joker is also a drug overlord in the commonwealth. Basically all settlements have those drug machines and all of diamond city gets supplied by him. This role play is funny as hell 😂

I’ve played so much FO4 and never got into factory building. I love settlement building but just couldn’t wrap my head around how to make all the switches work the way I wanted. Just dumb I guess. Love your death factory!

@@Invad3rDiz I guess that depends on your definition of Livable Settlement, considering how most of the existing farmers live in the Commonwealth. The deciding factor for me is how many beds I can build that the settlers can get to. My initial build is for 20 settlers, if possible. Some settlement sites are too small for 20 unless everyone sleeps on crammed together bedrolls. I prefer to build beds. 20 food and 20 water is not hard but you don't need that much for smaller Settlements with fewer settlers. Small Ballistic Turrets can be placed almost anywhere, and 20 Turrets give you 100 defense. I'm not big on decorations unless I can find a place for something happy-making.

Thanks for the great content. I did my own death factory using your conveyor idea. But after a while, I rebuilt, i removed the turrets and let them all drop into a room then I toss grenades into the room from above until they are all dead. Then i open a door, loot the bodies and reset. This way I can level up by getting the experience for killing them.

Thats a Really good idea with the grenades, i have a old save file where i sort of did something along the lines of that but instead of Raider. it was Vaultec loot lunchboxes. the lunch boxes made my game crash so much so i moved to Raiders🤭

@Invad3rDiz im not finding the auto-butcher. I'm on ps5. Is there a substitute or an i just missing which mod? My first conveyor takes them from cages and drops them into a room with angled roofs so they tend to slide down to the next conveyor. That doesn't run until I open the roll up door. First I go up top, lob in grenades until they are all dead, then come down and open the rollup, starting conveyor. Currently that takes them to a lift thing and drops them into a hopper. I need to redesign that room to make it narrow like yours to eliminate the need for angles, but want to efficiently process them. I'll still keep double height walls so I can bounce the grenades down from behind cover. I think I've gone from level 12 or so to 39 via this exp farming

I've used this method to gear up a character fast for Survival mode without needing to travel very much outside of Sanctuary. Although, my set up was no where near as elaborate and automated lol. This.. is pretty fkn amazing

@@Invad3rDiz I build a couple Gunner huts, a couple radstag huts, and a couple Yao guai hut. Then I enclose it all like an arena and put a few turrets up top. The cooked Yao guai meat is fantastic for survival and use the radstag meat to reset the Yao guai cage. The Gunners tend to focus on the Yao guai instead of my turrets. Turrets finish off anything left. I loot, sleep a few days, repeat. Sell stuff I don't want to trashcan Carla when she comes by.. buy what she has I might want. Usually rare junk, grenades, ammo. Rinse and repeat til I have a full set of combat armor and some decent weapons. Usually gonna get a plasma rifle or two out of it. Several Yao guai roasts ready to go. And plenty of water stockpiled from my purifiers I set up. Also set up a decorative bathroom sink next to my bed, so I can just drink from that and not use any of my stored water. Also good note for survival, melons replenish both hunger and thirst.

My fav part is how the diner/projector room are integrated seamlessly. I didn’t recognize it at first. The whole thing is designed to bring skulls into the projector room, and drop them into a skull collector room, easily accessed on the landing. The skull toolbox was a little underwhelming, in comparison to what it took to collect them a half a flight of stairs away from the ignition. What this build deserves is a grand skull display wall. Each one side by side. The projection screen would be perfect. Build shelves all over it then set up the skulls. That would blow people’s minds, together with this genius machine.

I think my pc would have broke if I kept all 500 and something skulls in that tiny room😆 and recorded😔 I'm glad you noticed that the projector room is basically the base and the factory was built around it, but with the thought of I want the skulls to end up in this room. The same room where I would cramp all my wires and such😅 And yeah the toolbox was little out of place.. at first I used the room but my game would act up when to many skulls where inside there. And I found after while and few loads skulls would dissappear.. and I didn't want that at all.. this factories main soul purpose is to count heads of the raiders it has killed

Your factory gave me some creative ideas, I'm making mine a little differently though. Basically it's going to include the creation club ambush kit and revolve around that. But as of right now it's turning out excellent. I am on Xbox and using manufacturing mods but that's about it. Still figuring out how to get the ambush in a room so I can close them off. So far no luck

I have done set-ups similar to this, but this is on a whole new level. I make an arena and release all the animals and and npc's at once, but the conveyor and elevator cleanup is quite extensive

Having tried to set up a death ring using those and constantly having the deathclaws somehow win against 10 gunners at once, necessitating me to have settlers permenantly on top of a wall with rocket launchers or Bolters if I'm using a 40K mod, and even then I have from time to time seen a settler in 40K Power armor get instant killed by a deathclaw, I'd LOVE to see someone automate killing their stupid asses
