A lost opportunity for Fallout 4 was to really be able to really clean the region up. By the end of the game, the Minutemen should have been able to bring the Brotherhood and Railroad into line, and create a united coalition of settlements, create and increasingly organized militia, and make the roads, towns and countryside safe.

You should try looking into Minutemen Radiant Squads, it allows you to send out Squads of Mintuemen to do settlement quests for you.

The minutemen overhaul mod i use is Liberty Reborn. You can even garrison settlements with it's minutemen guards. It's a bloody shame no one has ever given it a review.

Ya, this makes sense to me I thought there was a lot of lost potential with the minutemen and the gunners. It makes sense to me that as one of those factions getting stronger essentially means growing an army and forming something like a governing body for the commonwealth..

I wish there was a mod that would allow the player to advance to the rank of General rather than getting it from the start.

We Are The Minutemen & Minutemen Morale packs are two of my must-have mods for every playthrough of mine. If I may suggest an alternative/honorable mention for the last one, there is a settlement modpack called the Settlemods Collection that adds a ton of new settlement locations to not only the Commonwealth, but also Far Harbor & Nuka world, and it gives you the option to choose if you want all the new settlements or just some of them (I'm only using about half the settlements it adds, due to 1 not being finished & a few others being in crowded/annoying areas to work with), but key highlights is it turns the unmarked Natick Power Station into a settlement as well as Fairline Hills Estates, Fiddler's Green Trailer Park, Evan's Way Cul de Sac, the central island & unmarked farm into settlements in Nuka World and Huntress Island & Eden Meadows Cinema in Far Harbor. It also adds a few new completely new settlement locations (which I'm not using), such as a new train depot near Gunner's Plaza, Ryder Rentals (near Big John's Salvage) and it converts the Westling Estate into an amusement park (much like a mini-Nuka World) settlement. Another honorable mention would be Gruffydd's Signs & posters since it not only adds large, faction-specific signs for all the vanilla settlements, but also adds some additional Minutmen propaganda posters as well as wall, furled & waving versions of the New Commonwealth Minutemen Flag (the one that looks like the Puerto Rican flag, but with the minutemen emblem in place of the star in the blue triangle). A third & fourth honorable mention would be the Better Open Season mod, which lets you call in either the Minutemen or BoS to help take out the raiders in Nuka World, or the (still in beta) Nuka World Plus mod, which basically lets you skip right to Open Season if you so choose, and not only side with any faction you are friendly with, but also claim individual parks for any of the 4 main factions instead of just raider gangs after you clear said parks out for the first time. It even has its own questline of helping the traders in Nukatown USA clean up & upgrade the place (i.e. build defenses, set up trade deals with Diamond City and/or Goodneighbor, etc).

These are all great mods I haven't used conquest yet but it's going in my load order soon. Another great minutemen mod that works well with these is Minutemen take over Nukaworld which allows you to attack the nuka raiders with your minutemen army!

It's not Minutemen but, on PS4, Atom Cats garage and Vault 81's exterior can be full settlements (for PS4 standards). I like Minutmen Watchtowers.

This is a pretty good list. Wish I could use WATM and Blue's flag pack, but the former's only in French and the latter's not on Xbox. Could take or leave A New Dawn - combined with Burning Cover, it gives absolutely no reason not to just do the Minutemen ending. I'd also suggest Conquered Commonwealth and Bunker Hill for post-game, to supplement Conquest with some of the Commonwealth GECK series, and Liberty Reborn as an alternative overhaul to troop leveling. 1:10 Most players may not know this, but there's actually an in-game method to do this. An exploit called "bring Preston as a companion." You can probably look it up, but I could tell you how to do it.

There's two WATM files, basic and enhanced which are in English at least on Nexus. The Misc files are Nous sommes les Miliciens (c'est français...) but the Main file is still English when I downloaded it.

Great recommendations. I thought you would show "Militarized minutemen", which i think is pretty cool. Anyway, in my last playthrough, a BoS patrol gunned down a minutemen patrol in the middle of nowhere because there was a goul with the minutemen (or so i think) so I started installing mods to buff the minutemen up. We are the minutemen and militarized minutemen did the trick

I created a weapon mod for the Minutemen called "Minutemen Arsenal", which works with most of the mods you featured (as I'm already using them myself). Includes Charger Rifle-style laser musket, a laser pistol, a new grenade type and a new blade for the revolutionary sword. Wanna give it ahsot? ^^

If you want the minutemen to look more like an army download the militarized Minutemen and I’d recommend minuteman pipe replacer which will make the minutemen not use pipe guns anymore and the pipe gun they used to use with better guns

Loved the video @Kort! Can't wait for the next video man! Just found your Channel when this video came up on my feed and I'm glad I watched it. Now I know that Bethesda is really screwing around with everything, they start things off one way and then they go for something completely different from what they started! I wonder if there are any World War Two Related Mods for Fallout 4 aside from the Weapons because seeing Minutemen using M1 Garand Rifles or Laser Garand Rifles as well as M1928A1 Thompson Submachine Guns, M1918A2 Browning Automatic Rifles (BAR's) or Colt Monitors and M1 Carbines is Neat, but What about the Vehicles or Various Support like Artillery and Air Support? If you could actually rebuild the Country under the Commonwealth with World War Two Period Equipment and Vehicles, that's going to be Epic!!!! Let me know what you think about this and I'll catch you in your next video man!

I would say a lot of these mods do look and feel like they belong in Fallout 4, but I wouldn't have the last mod in, there are already too many settlement locations as there is. But as for the rest, like Preston Garvey shutting up and not giving you so many missions and the leveling up for the Minetmen and some of the of the others would work very well. But not the last one.

The paintings that you referred to being renderings of minutemen in the Minutemen moral mod are actually of the continental army not the Minutemen. The Minutemen wore their own cloths being the fact that they were militia and not regular army. Don't worry a lot of people make that mistake.

I like and use most of the mods on this list. But i do combine we are ther minutemen with militarized minutmen because i love the armor from that mod and they work perfect together. I also use "Whos the general" instead of one minutemen radiant quest at a time. Conquest i love but it is extremely buggy and have not been updatet in years.

hear me out somebody make a mod where like the minutemen can become the very thing they swear to destroy, a militarized dictatorship organization, this is after the institute is gone and (maybe the BOS) and they take any equipment left to become more powerful, combine this with some propaganda and Minutemen Vertibirds and you can have a full on empire heck there could even be a mod that retextures the colors to like a black and white or Dark Blue and something for the flags and outfits to give a more feared look

Time and again I have seen underhanded attempts by Bethesda to mess with Nexus. Sorry but its FACT. After all the hype over 76 being fallout 4 Online where players could work together and the Modding community would be welcome they did the opposite. PvP and calling Modders Hackers. So I quit Fallout. Then one of my Grandkids asked me to help them in their game and I redownloaded 4 and WOW! there are three mods that can turn FO 4 into the game All of them should have been. 1) Sim Settlements 2 and as needed the chapters 1 2 and 3. 2) Militarized Minutemen 3) Constructable Faction Guards. Will give you the Game you have been praying for. All DL from the main Bethesda line so way more stable. Just the 3 mods will give you 3x the story plot and replay ability. All IMO and what do I know, LOL. Bless and be well.

George Washington doesn't like Minutemen actually. he prefers orderly regular army (Continental Army).. he himself was once British Army General in the war against Bourbon France several years earlier. he recruited Prussian military advisors to create 'Prussian Army' for Continentals so to counter British Army Professionals. 2:30
