i highly recommend finding high level friends and if youre in a private group together they can build a lot of things you dont have unlocked or lacking materials for. Did this for all my friends and got a few of them very into it lol

visit other player camps to get an idea of what you can do, then look at the build items you have and see what they inspire you to do, or go for an explore and see if a location has the perfect spot for you to build

Lighting makes or breaks an area-I am sadly lacking in how many light styles I have but seeing things like these helps trying to visualize how that is done.
