Discovered your channel recently after some basecamp building myself. I think you have a great sensibility for wasteland design! I like that this set has unique walls. I also like the ramp/stairs. I'm tempted to get this one. I've been merging plants into the barrels that came from the Pitt scoreboard. They fit really well into most corners. The small tree that has the Vault TEC base works the best IMO.

It's a pretty narrow spot, but you don't see many builds in this corner of the Ash Heap which is nice.

Cheers! I'm pleased that came out as well as it did. Putting a roof on something like that might have been a faff if you wanted to avoid big gaps or have things line up but it worked ok here.

Very nice job on this. I've not started to build with it but have bought the abandoned mine shelter. My only disappointment with the shelter is that there water in it but you cannot put a water purifier in there.

It's my favourite of the shelters I think. Definitely one of the more distinctive ones. I'm not terribly Surprised you can't put purifiers down there though. With food and other resource objects being unavailable, (presumably to limit excessive farming), it is consistent.

Ohhhhhhh if the shelter entrance can take foundations going through it, I may just have to build it as the mine shaft entrance is inside the building, and then build around it with gantries and such like... thanks for the inspiration my good man :P

Looks good.. It's a shame that we have to wait for Bethesda to slowly offer decorative items into the Atomic Shop.. Why they don't just have a decent selection of decorative items for sale all the time on the Atomic Shop makes no sense to me.

Interesting build, not what I would go for but it's good you managed to make it work. I'm trying to do a scavenger's shack build myself with this set and I did manage to build a decent, immersive shack but I fear I made it too small to have any gameplay function ie crafting so I made a secondary shack but looking at it now I feel like I should just build a bigger shack or something

I'm thinking I might do something along those lines with this set at some point. You can make some pretty small builds work if you want to, I've got a pretty tiny Hunter's shack that I did last year that came out pretty well.

It varies, but I've got a pretty decent rhythm now so it tends to take about 5/6 hours all told. Usually anyway.

How do you lower a foundation like that?
