You have been playing since launch? If so do you think it's worth coming back to? I stopped playing for a long time but want to get back into it but not sure if it's worth it

Yes, i have been playing since launch. I have 2 characters, one is lvl 290 and the other is 265. I have tried all the differnt types of builds for them... now on bloodied sneak commando and junkies sneak commando, so it keeps me busy. Also have moved and built scores of camps. Just subscribed to Fallout 1st a couple of days ago in prep for DLC. I am now starting the search for vault 79 on each character.

Thanks. I had a look at the link you posted to the map changes. I definitely still nowhere anything problematic. Tip: I hardly ever get attacked because I only use 1 wind turbine for my mansion. It powers 4 vendors and my lighting. Everything people grow is easily collected, I also keep the meat from kills to cook as I travel. I use power armour and rad x to mass collect dirty water then boil it and craft my drinks. Purified water is rewarded and found everywhere. Having virtually no power, zero crops and no water production at camp means I don't need turrets (which magnify issues). I've lived in the same place since maybe a fortnight after beta and I chose practicality over a vista.

@F P I don't think you understand. I can log in all day, spend hours at camp, with people coming and going and i might see a dog or rat over the course of week's gameplay. I had a fusion generator. There were deathclaws, scorchbeasts and prety much every enemy in the game on my doorstep regularly. I had punji boards, turrets and a nice vista back then too. It uses a similar system to Fallout 4 to calculate attacks. Removing or reducing most factors in the equation lessens or eliminates an attack. I'm not saying it's not possible to have a nice view. I think where I am is the most suitable location for all aspects of gameplay. The view is okay and it's practically tranquil.

I think my camp is safe. I’m on the top of a narrow mountain ridge (Seneca Rocks) lol. Great video tip with the vendors. That also works with display cases FYI
