The institute was formed in the basements of the c.i.t. and then progressively moved more underground. They were not in appalachia. And as of the date of the game, they are merely in the early stages of their formation

They way the Bethesda reps were talking..... the map expansion should've gone SW, and it looks pretty small like a rush job ! Now, if it's just part 1 of 2 parts, that's cool, but if it's the whole DLC, then.... we need more ! Imagine how big a proper DLC map add-on could have been if they weren't messing around with Pitt and Atlantic city extended daily ops for the last two and a half - three years 🙄 I guess it's a wait and see what else drops with this backyard add-on before we judge the whole deal ! I was just looking for a bigger SW map expansion, not this ?

To be honest, I'm happier that Bethesda are doing a "slow and steady" roll out. If they'd dumped a huge map expansion on us, I guarantee it would have instantly broken the game and then we'd all be moaning about that.

(DLC : Example: Far Harbor or Nuka World) & Yes, I realize it's not a SP game, but something in the ballpark) Anyway, have fun gaming on Fallout 76 ✌️🙂
