I have used the watchtower as an auxiliary building in several builds, but never thought to use it as the primary residence. I am astounded at what you have created here. You have shown us a master craftsman at work once again. Bravo!

The pride flag reminds me I really wish we got wall mounted pride flags, I want my trans flag hanging in my blacksmith shop

Gorgeous scrappy goodness! Small footprint (which I love) and you still managed to fit in everything you need without feeling cramped. I think it's one of the most cozy and still lore friendly camps I've seen in a while. I have the firewatch tower but never felt inspired to to build with it. You may have given me a new project!

I notice in a lot of the builds, especially that blue ridge caravan camp build, you use a lot of those walls (like the gate, fences, wooden barricades, etc.) from the "Defense" category and was wondering what atomic shop sets are they from? What are the main ones you use at least?

The main sets I use do all come from the Atomic Shop. The junk walls are based on ones from FO4 and those should just be called Junk Walls. I'm not sure how often they appear as I own the bundle already so it won't usually appear for me. The newer set, that have a more driftwood style to them are "Junk Partitions". I also use the chain link fences from the Halloween building kit, and the Encampment fences set quite a lot. If you're after any of those sets specifically it may be worth seeing if you can buy them through the help pages. (help.bethesda.net). That might save you a lot of waiting. There's a whole lot of other bits and pieces that are available in game through Seasonal Events, especially Hunt for the Treasure Hunter that I also use to add detail. As well as a few other bits too. Hope that helps!

I tried this game when it first came out and wasn't impressed. I then went back to building in Fallout 4. Seeing your lovely builds makes me want to give it another go. :)

It's a bit of a different beast to FO4 but I do enjoy it. I've been back in 4 again recently too and there's definitely things about each of them that I like. 😎

This is really amazing! i've never bought the Firewatch towner becasue i thought it was too short and without much potential, but this just made me buy it so i can try and make my own spin on what you've done here!

It's definitely on the short side, but that's mostly down to the hight limitation of the build area I think. It's fun to work with though.

There are some good ones out there. There's a couple that are a bit likely to only be used once though. Something to keep in mind when making a decision I think.

@@DarthXionGames definitely. I have a bunch, but most of them are early ones. I finally got the Wildwood Tavern recently, but I don't have a CAMP slot free to work with it atm. Other than that, most of what I have are short ones and I'd like something with some height that isn't so bulky. I'm gonna have to keep an eye open for this tower.

I did something similar with the interior of the Seedy Shed in one of my builds, also to make it more believable as a living space

Tbh I've never felt inclined to pick that prefab up. Apart from the door there's nothing about it that can't be done with the barn building set so it didn't really seem worthwhile to me. I'm not particularly keen on the proportions of it either.

Hey Darth quick question just wondered how you float the stairs just before the entrance to the bridge? Love the vid.

It's pretty straightforward. Line a foundation up so the stairs snap where you want them,(it'll probably need to be a bit higher than you'd think), then attach a second foundation to the first. Once the second is in place you should be able to remove the first and leave the stairs in place. Then take number two out as well.

@@DarthXionGames lastly do you have to do anything in particular with the junk walls? As in placing them can’t get imagine they snap to the foundation of the tower?

@henvenstein I think for the most part they placed just fine on their own. They don't snap to things anyway so no issues there. It might be helpful to use the flamethrower trap to break ones you've already built if the collision is making it hard to place the next one. I don't think I did much else though.
