They definitely learned some lessons about map building. There's significantly less stuff around the area compared to the vanilla map. I also encountered less underground collision with the few CAMPs I've made so far. Overall, I think it's been pretty good.

They're pretty decent structures. Frame rates can be a bit of an issue when you're building on them for some strange reason but otherwise they're cool!

Nice camp. I really liked the junk wall on that location. It fits the shape of the little island.

That turned out great! Really like how you used the location and made the camp fit in so perfectly. I’ve been looking for a camp spot in the new area but I can’t make up my mind as there are so many great locations.

The fortress wall, is a place holder for a datamined aet of new defensive walls being released the design is similiar to the civil war fort in the toxic waste, its in the same style as the fortress catwalks thst have been goven to anyone who already owns a set of catwalks which is a future atomic shop item

Love these new tents, made a blacksmith's tent with the iron mountain anvil weapons workbench, it's perfect for a militaristic/medieval camp.

I thought about using that bench but didn't really have the space in the end. It sounds like quite the fire hazard though! 😂

camping in a camp themed c.a.m.p I've gone for a convert pioneer scouts wilderness center which has been converted into a BOS settler training center based on the choice i made in the BOS storyline in skyline valley though it's unfinished due most the stuff i want being season related.

You can place a lightning conductor in your camp now, it’s a new item and I’ve not used it yet so I don’t know how well it works but it should help with lightning strikes in your camp.

just came back to the game for the new season and decided to finally build a camp, i found a small crate that i think would make a nice junkyard type build but i'm having a hard time trying to place some walls in uneven terrain. does anyone know if it's possible to somehow clip walls through the ground so that they aren't floating?

It's a bit of a nightmare in 76 unfortunately. Certain things are better at that than others. The simpler junk walls sink a bit and the chain link fence and the encampment fences will clip into the ground too but it's a bit limited unfortunately.

There's a solar panel tucked away behind each of the tents. The tents have a connection point back there so it made sense to get them out of the way. I didn't want an electric light vibe for this one, but the cage lights put out the right glow without having either 50 lanterns all over the place or a ton of oil lampposts so it worked well as a compromise.
