Jonathan Hall Here are my thoughts on the game: When I played fallout 3 when it first came out I was blown away, I loved the story, the characters, the setting, everything ticked with me. Except I didn't enjoy how lonely and hopeless it felt, sure I could have companions with me but all they were, were an extra gun, they didn't feel alive to me. The Washington wasteland itself felt pretty empty, which I'm told is how it was supposed to be, but I still wish they had a couple more settlements in the game, even with the whole premise being "purify the water so it's drinkable for all" it still didn't give me enough motivation because the whole time I was thinking "what about the Capitol, shouldn't we try creating a settlement there? What about the destroyed city, we should start remaking it." It just didn't feel me with enough hope to be satisfied. Now when new Vegas came out, It became my absolute favorite game at the time, the story felt more hopeful and inspired because the fate of an entire civilization was at stake. The characters and companions felt more real and alive because they had story's, they had struggles, they had vengeance, it didn't feel as lonely as before. And the setting had a lot more settlements, had more civilization but still felt like a wasteland with some settlements being destroyed by monsters, some areas that people couldn't go to because they were so dangerous, and an entire beacon of light coming from a beautiful city in the middle of mutants and monsters, it was almost perfect, except for the fact that you can't play the game after the story was beaten, it would just take you back to before the battle at Hoover dam, so I couldn't see how people reacted, if settlements I saved or liberated from either the legion or some group of creatures repopulated, if some left and others stayed, I just wanted to see what came next. Then fallout 4 was released, the story was good, the characters felt as alive as the ones in new Vegas, and the wasteland felt dangerous but safe with settlements like goodneighbor and diamond city being built right in the middle of a destroyed city full of mutants, raiders, and deathclaws, and the introduction of the settlement system just filled my desires to 100! All the places I liberated and rescued were under my control and I could keep the people in them safe I could rebuild the wasteland, create giant thriving cities, and destroy all the things that tried to destroy them. My only problem is that I wished caravans of people would come to some settlements seeking shelter and I could take them in. Now with fallout 76, I could do everything I could do in the previous installments and more! I can now create thriving settlements wherever I want thanks to C.A.M.P, I can now interact with actual people and ask them if they want to live in my community, I can explore the wasteland alone, I could have companions, I can kill creatures in explosive and action packed ways, I could have possible wars with another settlement, I can find random people and try and help them survive, I could do just about anything and everything I could do in the previous installments. I honestly don't get why people hate it 76. If people think a bunch of kids will just start killing anyone they see, I have a feeling they're all too busy playing fortnite for that. If people are angry they there are no human NPC's, what's the difference between that, and a real person, the only way I think people could be against surviving with another person, is if they were antisocial hermits. Besides you can just survive on your own by going solo, if people are mad the game feels to empty, fill it up with settlements, team up with other players to make it 1 giant scrap city in the middle of the woods, the fallout 76 world I'd yours to mess around with, you can do just about everything you can do with previous fallouts, in this multiplayer fallout.

@@thebaronanative8289 well for one I have terrible internet so playing online only will not be fun Two I don't have people to play with and I don't have a microphone to talk to people Three I didn't enjoy building bases that much in fallout 4 Four all the story will have to be read or listened to through holotapes and that sounds like itll get old real quick additionally any quests involving characters outside of the vault will just be dead I'm sure some people will enjoy this but to me it doesn't have any redeeming features

They are keeping the internal game clock running period in 8 years I think it is, oxhorn talks about this in one of his videos, The Fallout 76 game clock will start to meet up with the other games in the series. They've also said that they plan on continually patching this game. I have a feeling that they plan on doing something completely different with this game. It would be incredibly lore breaking 8 years down the road and get to 200 years down the road in the game and everything is exactly the same. I am very much inclined to believe that as the years progress they will slowly change what this game is. They have to add NPCs and settlements slowly over time otherwise everyone's going to be even more pissed if we get 200 in game years down the road and nothing has changed. Until it is proven otherwise, I would like to believe that this game is slowly going to evolve like the area would overtime. Logging on today is going to be a different game than logging on two years from now, four years from now, 6 years from now, eight years from now. I am incredibly interested to see where this game goes. If this doesn't actually happen, I don't see the point in the running clock at all if that isn't the case, but I will be right there with everyone that thinks this is the shittiest lore breaking piece of shit game ever (I know that's not what you said, that's just what a lot of people have been going around saying)

52-100 with the exception of the constant disconnects...the game is fun. If you started right now. You'd have alot of the lower lvl areas to yourself. I think alot of people started playing the game at the same time...which put alot of people in the starting zones at the same time...WoW also had this problem at launch. Now that people have progressed...new players are finding a much more enjoyable experience. Older players have established camps to help newer players. Zones are less populated because players are in midlvl and high lvl zones. Questing can be accomplished in relative peace If server you are on is having issues...for whatever reason, you can always log out and back in and be placed on a new server to avoid whatever issues you were having. (You can't do this in most games, you are just stuck on whatever server you rolled your toon on). If you are a casual gamer, might not be the game for you. If you are an old school gamer...very fun. Almost reminds me of lethality of UO...

It's like Fallout 4 but multiplayer, and, that ain't entirely a bad thing... Well, except the bugs that come with it. I don't think of it as a cashgrab, even though they really needed to do a better job with spotting and fixing the bugs as it's an online game where some of the problems are just unacceptable. However, it's just been released and as it's being updated and fixed over time, I'd still recommend giving it a try if you have friends that would do the same. It's made for people that wanted to have a Fallout online experience, and, if you just accept it as that, it really isn't that bad.

This game is a buggy, souless, empty, greedy cash-grab, so-called "multiplayer" game with absolutely no attention paid to important aspects that make multiplayer games fun such as enjoyable PvP. It's a Fallout 4 clone that Bethesda made for the sole purpose of abusing the Fallout IP to fill their pockets. Hell, there are even cheat mods like speedhacks on the Nexus already that exploits the game's engine from the Triassic period. I urge you not to buy this game for the sake of your wallet, and for Bethesda to learn their lesson. Do not let Bethesda become the next EA.
