I'm disappointed that it's not an automatic unarmed weapon. It's called a Drill Fist. I was expecting it to act like the drill, but in fist mode. But it's basically a reskinned Power Fist.

the Industrial hand seems to be in the same boat, as a reskinned Power first instead of automatic like the Drill or Chainsaw or Autoaxe. that also needs to be changed.

@@hermos3602 the industrial hand from New Vegas was awesome. That would be my favorite weapon if they changed it to its original form of an arm mounted chain saw with a quick draw time.

I mean, the devs put reload speed on melee weapons now. So I think you are onto something.

Ye, drill fist and setler gauntlet (or however that saw blade thing is called) should be automatic ones in my opinion, they look as something that should be spinning continuosly, they could be unarmed and automatic, similarly as chainsaw is (I think) two handed and automatic, also if they wanted to be really interesting with them, drill fist could give bonus ore and one with saw bonus wood when getting them in wild while holding those, so they could be used as gathering tools they supposedly are too

IM BEGGING FOR THEM TO LET US CHANGE THE LEGENDARY EFFECTS ON THESE WEAPONS. I’d really like it if the special effects were the major part of these weapons and we can reroll the legendary effects letting us make cool combos, like the fixer

Not an auto fist weapon?.... Aw.... Literally looks perfect for it. That's a let down. Still awesome weapon and I want to shift back to Unarmed, but man, I was hoping for it to be an auto-unarmed weapon with spinning blades.

Drill bits not moving is a bug. Without the ultracite bit mod, normal bits move.

@@wiggle_plays fair, though this is the perfect looking weapon to be an unarmed version of the AutoAxe or something along those lines. We had one in the DLC of FONV, wish we got one here. It even has a fantastic new 4-star effect for it! Ah well. I still like it, and getting 3 DoT effects on it is pretty rad.

Given that hack and slash explosions can pass on the dots onto other enemies around does give the weapon a bit of add control by spreading the dots while saving vats with the 4th star .

I wish they would make fire damage less trash, it would better if it ticked over the millisecond like how it's applied to players as opposed to every second. It's a small chunk of damage. This thing does look super fun tho, I might try and go back to unarmed if they make this things effects modable. Great vid! Keep up the good work! Love your vids!

imo, Ultracite bits should add +50% dmg to Scorn, like all Ultracite does.

Fist has limb damage. Should have punched Queen in the legs a couple times to slow her down. I've been trying a fist toon for a bit but using Exploding Palm... are they rolling it all into Hack n Slash now?

Hack and Slash works with any melee weapon. Exploding Palm is unarmed only.

I switched to Auto Melee a few months ago and it's made my experience in Fallout 76 TREMENDOUSLY better. I have so much fun running around with a Bloodied & Vampire Autoaxe. I wish it were more viable at events but still fun nevertheless. I look forward to using the Drill Fist. Automelee is fun but horribly buggy. Often times if I'm hit first before I can automelee I get stuck in an animation where the autoaxe plays audio does no damage. Blocking fixes it, but being a low health rads build those few seconds often end up with me dead and respwaning.

double tap your attack button when staggered, think of it like rerevving the chainsaw/autoaxe

btw best use is hoard style events like moonshine jamboree or one violent night and if you don't have it, I suggest 40% power attack for 2nd star. the regular attack counts as a power attack due to it using ap

@@theslayer4050 This is great feedback, thank you! Next time I'm online I'll give it a go. If this fixes it, it's my only complaint about auto-melee. With a rads build when this happens I almost always end up getting killed because of it. And thank you for the 2nd suggestion. At the moment I just use a Tesla rifle at events. It works with low/medium range.

Unfortunately I don’t think much people are going to use any of these raid weapons. Bethesda has a real problem of you play our way with what we want you to play with. At least when it comes to reward weapons.
