I got the helmet plans really early. I HIGHLY recommend that when you find the helmet plans, to make LOTS of them to sell for your daily caps runs. With the vendor sell perk, I sell them each at 31 caps and they only take 1 steal, 1 glass, and 3 rubber to make. From what I have found so far, that's a good deal of caps for little materials!

Have recieved the right arm' left arm, torso and right legs. Idk how the respawn times work. Once i got 3 recipes in 2 hours and the right legs took me hours to get even with server hoping. Server hoping only works if someone has visited that location on a different server which you havent looted yet. So lets say you loot this area and server hop, nothing will be there since you took it on a different server. But if you loot the area, hop servers and someone has just been in that area before you logged in, it will respawn all the items and give you a chance to collect a other recipe. Its so confusing but server hoping works. You just have to hope someone is in the same area when you hop servers.

Worked for me. Found all 3 plans there, though it took me probably about 40-60 server hops. You just have to be patient and vigilant. Check to see if there are other players nearby or in that building. If so, they may have grabbed any spawns. If not, it's a good chance there could be a plan there. Good luck and happy hunting!

Marine tactical helmet is found in a train car just west of Watoga train yard. Just follow the tracks, plans will be on a crate inside an orange train car. Also has a chance to be any marine armor plan as this is where I found my full set.

The starred legendary items aren't in his original cache. Those are items sold by other players. I'm 99.9% sure that no vendors spawn random legendary gear by default. If you happen upon a server with a "stock" vendor, their supply is usually pretty crummy. I've gone to Watoga Station plenty of times on an underpopulated server (usually very late at night EST) and the only plan the robot has is for a radium rifle. When I log into the game, I usually do my vendoring first with all the expensive junk I saved from the previous day. I permanently marked gold, silver, fiberglass and black titanium for saving, because the raw junk is super lightweight (I have 2 ranks of pack rat) and super easy to find while questing and looking in cabinets. I also pick up golf clothing and straight jackets because they only weigh 0.1 lb and sell for 25 and 43 caps when swapping in rank 3 Hard Bargain (with my 4 Cha). Each piece of gold, silver, fiberglass and black titanium sells for 2 caps a piece with the card in play. I used to hang on to chems, but they weigh a lot and junk is far more efficient. I just keep a couple psychobuff and psychotats on hand for soloing a fissure site, and an addictol or two in case I catch the shakes afterwards. I keep a stock of 100 said items in my stash and keep the rest on my person for vendoring or in case I run into Grahm. Scrapped junk weighs so little (0.003 per piece with rank 2 pack rat) that it hardly impacts my carry weight. I've learned to be relatively frugal with the initial 400lb stash and I think that was actually a good experience. With previous Fallout games, you could just dump everything into a huge pile that would be outrageous in real life. The 600 lb limit is much more realistic, even with very generous weights on heavy metals. I actually like it, because it makes looting feel more necessary instead of ignoring all junk since everyone had a display of maxed out weapons and armor by level 70 in FO4 and there was little need to collect junk anymore. I'm actually happy to find rat poison when I need lead, and a desk fan is always a treat to find. Before wising up to the White Knight perk, I was buying all the ballistic fiber I could from vendors. I've been re-buying the cards on level ups to only have a two rank card and put the extra point to max out Adrenaline. A stealth rifleman can put out incredible great damage with rifleman perks, tank killer, glow sight, bloody mess and adrenaline in a blast site if you move from location to location or have someone in power armor zerging around grabbing aggro while you maintain a perch and support them. Add in Mister Sandman with the proper gear and a couple stealthboys and nighttime solo raids on fissure sites are fairly easy with tactical maneuvering.

However if you do trade this item you’ll get banned. However with many other items found in dev room, the Marine Combat Helmet and hunter hood will be released into the game soon as future content, maybe as a quest reward item or just something you find. To answer all the questions about if the helmet is in game... No, not yet. I hope this was maybe helpful to some people that were wondering such as myself

A secondary place for all the marine plans, is at Watoga, if you follow the train tracks northward toward the BOS building, just north of Watoga is an open train car. Inside it, atop some boxes is a plan that I USUALLY find sorta askew, where it's resting vertically instead of horizontally, but is still grabbable. I've so far gotten the wetsuit, chest and arms this way.

I followed your advice found legs (multiple times) and chest, also got the robot arms, the zone where you can find them is actually wider, I found the legs also on the wet marine suit spot, ouest from this position. My main focus right now is on finding all plans for the brotherhood of steel combat armor.

Paul Endymion you don’t need the plans! Store your junk, and go to the fissure site location in the brotherhood of steel quest in the cave. At the very end of the cave there is a body that will consistently spawn 3-4 random pieces of BOS combat armor. Server hop and do it again and again

Note the helmet has no in game drop you either have to get lucky with a vendor and they sell it but it comes from mole miner pales which you get from mole miner treasure hunters

I'm 99 percent sure you have to be a certain level, pretty sure the min level for marine armor is somewhere between 25-35
