This update will be awesome, but the Green Light on character is something that must change, it completely destroy the look of the character and will be quickly annoying imo

What I wanna know is how overeaters works as a ghoul without hunger or thirst, is it tied to the feral bar? And if it is, which way does it scale.

I think they mentioned some builds like bloodied will be incompatible with ghouls. Maybe overeater might be affected on a similar way.

I think both overeaters and bloodied are gonna be taking the L wih this because as far as i understand the hunger/thirst is gone and this ghoul playstyle is not for low hp because it will be built around using rads which is not how bloodied works it needs to maintain it at (20% at the least to trigger both emergency proto and nerd rage) so vanguard and aa/quad/vamp (depending on the weapon) might be the best rolls one has on their gear

I do believe Bloodied and Overeaters are pushed away since they are already the top level builds most players use and the point here is to broaden the build types... except I feel we are just going to get a lot of Melee ghouls but they tried I guess.

I noticed there wasn't any Power Armor footage. While I assume the answer is yes, we will be able to utilize all these fun Ghoul perks while wearing Power Armor right? Also, will the Feral bonus apply to Auto Melee weapons? I'm a full health Melee Autoaxe build.

I did state how you will be at a disadvantage if you step into power armor, not recommended due to how radiation works, ghouls will be a lot more powerful outside of it And a lot of the melee perks will work with auto

So you can step into power armor, but due to how radiation works that would be a bad move, ghouls are at their best outside of power armor and humans are at their best inside power armor.

@@TYRYT Can you play bloodied or is that not a thing? Does it feel strong? And are you only strong when you go through all the rigmarole of filling* that meter that overlaps your health pool?

@@damnsurfer522 bloodied is not a viable option, now we will have another meta way to play to directly compete with bloodied It is very strong! Strong by default but as you saw in the video there’s a clip of the b roll footage ghoul hitting 27,000 damage with a punch, that’s from being feral and using glow with some perk card combos.

I don’t like the glowing effekt. Only the „Skin“ should glow not the clothes+backpack+ weapons. Would look much better and not ruin the outfits/armor imo.

Oh! Burnt cards are the ones Ghouls can't use. Will you be listing those alongside all the new perk cards in the next video?

Burnt ones are just a new visual effect on perks, all ghoul perks have it and some regular perks have it… like collecting animated perks now you can collect burnt ones

As a melee main since day 1, I see this as an absolute win! But also I'm really hoping they add an extra legendary card slot for the ghoul stuff because my build is very delicately balanced. In fact just thinking about how I'm going to be able to fit ANY of the new ghoul perk cards seems like an impossibility for me. At most all I can think of rn is getting rid of cannibal and bloodsucker which is what's made me so tough; considering the changes to the health and food meter they're making. Also, how in the bloody hell do you have that many perk coins despite only being level 500? I just hit 529 and I have like maybe 50 and trying to max out Taking One For The Team

After being a player that took a break after launch then came back and took more breaks in between i think i finally came back for good. Everything weve ever wanted over the years breaking down weapons and armor for our perfect armor and weapon rolls have made up in this last update with the raids. That one weopon u traded in the past that u loved so much can now be crafted and modded 10 fold. If u cannot complete raids then all u have to to is buy the mods thyre all out there in vendors. I have a full set of Vucan Vanguard, Bolstering, Overeaters AND Troubleshooters armor. Now just working on the mods for each set and yesterday i got all the plan drops for the Gatling plasma in 4hrs server hopping Morgontown.

Does this mean power armour and bloodied cannot be used at all with this? As a bloodied user, this would make us not want to become a ghoul at all as the idea of this mechanic would MAKE you become a full health build. And power armour is basically unusable due to the high rad resist.

Radiation rumble is going to be a cinch for ghouls no more power armor alliance what are heavily Max builds to deal more damage you're just going to be able to use the cool abilities to amp yourself up pretty quickly

Looking good but also too good to be a ghoul, if you are not bloodied it is all advantages no matter what type of weapons you use. And even on the roleplay part if you are gonna be able to disguise yourself and do the quests anyway there's not much point. I found myself liking the perks as I was reading them until I realized a lot of them don't really have much to do with being a ghoul actually and there's so much positives you don't get as a human and you don't really lose much of nothing in return (me as a non bloodied player at least), kinda weird.

Any without any mods 👌. Did they happen to say anything about becoming a super mutant? I would imagine folks in vault 76 were not affected by the radiation to the FEV virus, and would not lose the higher mental faculties.

Tyr, please suggest adding a 6th character for this update. Many of us who have been playing for years have 5 characters already built and are not wanting to delete a character for this update. I know we can make any character a ghoul, but all mine have completed most of if not all of the story and I would really enjoy a fresh experience without deleting a character. I would even be willing to pay atoms for this 6th character option.
