Fallout 76 Trap camps are still a thing unfortunately

I didn’t realize it would work out in the open like that , I thought it would need be set up in a confined space. I always stash my junk and when I don’t have room and my 1st account not active on some accounts I just drop my junk hidden somewhere before I go shopping.

I remember melting invincible power armor builds with rad traps lol. Sadly, they were seriously nerfed ages ago. I know how to destroy peoples bases without pvping them, but that's just outright griefing.

I don’t mind trap camps in principle as they seem generally consistent with the various raiders and psychos we tend to see in Fallout games, but I don’t like when they exploit game mechanics such as mass-repairing invisible broken traps to deploy them. If I run into a pit full of spikes, that’s on me. If spikes magically fill a room, that’s an unfair exploit. If someone locks you in a room by locking a door, that’s annoying but lore-friendly. If someone builds walls around you while you’re crafting or shopping, that may be unfair, but it’s hilarious and harmless, so I don’t mind it.

I've been to a trap base before that actually I was amused how they managed to make it so invisble a trap on a corridor, didn't mind much so I saw the owner sitting outside looking at the trap and I just sat next to him watching other people going in 🤣

All builds can be killed. This is just a simple trap that can kill bloodied (also the most common) builds.
