You've just reminded me I need to get on with rolling a T65 Troubleshooters set... I only ever use Power Armour during the "Test Your Metal" event, so having a full set of anti-robot PA would be quite handy for me.

Not sure how lucky I was but I found a player selling the ultracite calibrated shocks plan, it was about 7500, a bit expensive but it helps with my BOS PA build I’m going for

Great price, I have gotten it only twice from SBQ in 6k+ hours and I never miss a scorched earth. Three times I bought it from players for 25-40k. I'm buying it for any price if I ever come across it. Same for the emergency protocols plan.

I gotta have that poison dmg so I'm gonna get this. I also appreciate that it look camouflaged. Underrated gear and I think the cost is worth it so it stays kinda rare.

You only need 3 parts that reduce the weight of consumables to get rid of 4 perk cards. 3 pieces of armor and one level each, Traveling Pharmacy and Thru-hiker give the maximum. In my opinion, this is the optimal combination.

I remember playing with this armor set in the past but just found it to not be that big of a deal. T-65 is good enough for me.

So I have heard that it's "okay" for PvP since Poison Resistance is not as common. Cold Shoulder and Strangler Heart lets you do Cold and Poison damage with every hit.

It's possible. Only PVP I ever did was Nuclear Winter. 🤷‍♂

I did one PA roll for this just to put on display. I am going to spend the massive amount of vault steel rolling for a UY body armor Thorn set since it will get me the carry weight I need.

I like Thorn a lot. The bleed damage set bonus is much better than the poison from Stranger Heart.

Brutal grind, I've got this on two characters and still dont have a set I'm happy with after a year. Oh thee characters in forgot i rolled one for my shotgunner a couple months ago. What a flop that experiment was LOL I do love Ultracite PA in general though it's my favorite and so will keep trying 😂

Given the steep price, I find the armor pretty underwhelming. The poison damage isn't effective against anything but low level enemies.

@@wiggle_plays I agree. It's really a shame that they nerfed it so much. My heavy guy has the best set of my bunch but I still just use an OE T45 set on him because it is my favorite look.

Isnt it the same as ultracite? There is no calibrated shocks on that. Thats why i only run ultracite for my assassins build and nothing else. Also assassins is actually an amazing perk if you like to run explosive weapons. It negates your own explosive damage for those oopsy boom booms. Im in the process of rolling unyielding thorn armor. Talk about expensive. 🤬 ive rolled the left arm 76 times total now with no unyielding yet.

Yes, it uses Ultracite mods and there is a calibrated shocks plan for that. It's just stupidly rare.

I'm a PA heavy gunner build. The only legendary effect I really care about is weapon weight reduction. I use union PA for the poison resistance and extra carry weight. It replaced my excavator PA set. I like the look of the strangler heart armor. Too bad it's not a skin.

I like Union too. I thought maybe Stranger could be fun for a melee heavy build. Sadly, the set bonus is lacking.

With good reason. The set effect is pretty meh and mods are hard to come by. Plus, it's stupidly expensive to craft.

The unluckiest part is that I ended up with Strangler Heart in the end. Try as I might, I can't find a use for the set effect.

Yeah I just don't understand why people roll for anything other then pvp gear, it's not like the games hard at all, you could littrrly run a set of unmoded excavator and be in the same ball park of a dude with pull kitet gear, But pvps the complete opposite you need extremely specific rolls just to stand a chance So yeah I don't understand it

Only against Earl and inside blast zones entering my perfect Strangler Heart Assassin Sentinel 100 Cryo from my full set UY Thorn is 💯😎 with my AT DOT build. 😈
