The final little scene, with [redacted] marching across the wasteland and seeing [redacted] in the distance, [redacted] walks by a Deathclaw skull that they very clearly highlight (because they're planning on including Deathclaws in season two, from what I've read).

5:11 Took me a while but I'm pretty sure this question was referring to the game Wasteland (1988) created by Brian Fargo who then went on to create Fallout after losing the rights to Wasteland. So in many ways Fallout is the spiritual successor to Wasteland and this question was asking if Wasteland and Fallout are connected. Wasteland itself has a more retro 1980s Cold War Age of Reagan feel to it. Alot of political satire and dark humour like Fallout just pulling from two differant eras of America.

5:50 this is the Ghoul, as a Ghoul, reffering to the Dog as the noun dogmeat in an in-world joke of the dog being dogmeat. It was a great meta joke in general, referencing the proper Dogmeat from Fallout 1. The actual named Dogmeat dog only appeared in Fallout 1 and 2. The dog in Fallout 3 was called Dogmeat, but was not the original/actual Dogmeat. Fallout 4's Dog was just named Dog. Fallout Show's dog is named "4", as referred to by Wilzig, or the full name from the Enclave being CX-404

They're really hard to hit without VATS(unless they are in your face alredy), the sting takes a good chunk of your life +the venom. I don't remember if the vemon stack, but yeah. At least you can cripple the legs of the Deathclaw to make them almost useless

Btw, not all actors play the game--for fear of copying characters from the game and rather make their own choices about how to play a role. They let the writing and director guide their performance while feeling free to have a new interpretation even if they are playing a character from a game (same for adaptations from comics, novels, tv shows, etc., some avoid the source material).

Henry Cavil was a big Witcher fan and played the Witcher 3 manny times to perform his role as Geralt as good as he can. There was a easter egg in the last minutes of the final episode. Achara is partially right. It depends on the universe. In some fictional universe, vampires can have babies. For example, UNDERWORLD vampires can have babies and they are known as "pure bloods". So too in BLADE. It's a common trope where vampires can have babies to treat them as special vs vampires made by biting a human and then feeding the dying human vampire blood. On the flip side, BUFFY vampires normally can't have kids as well as those in the Anita Blake series of novels for exactly the reason Achara cited, vampires are dead and so would their sperm and eggs be incapable of creating new life. (Buffy had a special case for Angel. It's a really long story.) Even so, you can convert a human child into a vampire by having a vampire bite it and then feeding vampire blood to it, like in Anne Rice stories from INTERVIEW WITH A VAMPIRE, but said vampire is stuck in a child's body no matter how long they live, which causes ... problems. So, getting back to FALLOUT, yes, ghouls can reproduce--but they can't do so sexually. They could convert a human child or baby into a ghoul as was shown in episode 7 but that would be a moral dliemma if a child was on the verge of death vs centuries stuck in a child's--or baby's--body. Lastly, I worry Jaby's understand of human reproduction might actually be less than Maximus. No way shape or form would ... that ... result in a baby. Sure, in the heat of the moment, one position might lead to another but otherwise that particular act he cites is guaranteed child-free.

In Fallout 4, not long after you meet the first human survivors (both the Raiders and Survivor faction), you have to handle a Deathclaw. Luckily, you have a suit of Power Armor and a minigun. As you level up, your foes get stronger to match. Deathclaws have always been THE apex predator in Fallout. Yao Guai (mutated grizzly bears named after Yogi bear with a pseudo Chinese name) are TOUGH. Cazadors (giant wasps) in New Vegas will kill you quick individually or in swarms. The Ghoul in the show is probably the toughest opponent in that setting. Another tough hombre is Frank Horrigan, a soldier in the Enclave with roid rage who gets turned into a Super Mutant and retains his intelligence and fighting skills and then they experiment on him some more to make him stronger and more pissed off and then make a custom suit of power armor for him and even more powerful weapons. Different versions of Dogmeat have different levels of toughness. Dogmeat can't be killed in Fallout 4 but none of your companions can be killed, just wounded. You can give them a Stimpak during active combat, or finish combat and they recover immediately for free. In the original Fallout games, you could kill Dogmeat and he could be killed, but I think when Bethesda took over, Dogmeat became near immortal and he can wipe out much larger creatures all by himself.

Ghouls are not born as ghouls. They haven't talked about if a pregnant woman was irradiated or drugged while carrying a child, but there could be ghoul babies and there are ghoul children. Ghouls are sterile as part of the process. There's one ghoul child you rescue from a refrigerator in Fallout 3 (I think). You're walking through a junkyard and you hear a child's voice asking you to let him out. After some dialog, when you open the door, out comes this little kid who was stuck in a fridge since the war. You also run into some ghoul children in various settlements.

A small nitpick from me. I do kinda wish they would've run some fx/filter over Walton's voice in the show. From what I recall in the games (can't remember which), the radiation that turns one into a ghoul wreaks havoc on the vocal cords. I think all non-feral ghouls in the game have a hoarse voice as a result, except for maybe Jason Bright.

No, the Deathclaw hasn't been shown on-screen in the show yet, except for a skull in the sand in the outro of the final episode. The mutated bear that killed Titus is called a "Yao guai", another very dangerous monster in the Fallout universe. The Deathclaw is a genetically manufactured creature made by the US military before the Great War (which escaped into the wild after the war), while the Yao guai is just a side-effect of the radiation, like the rad-roach and other mutants. Deathclaws are absolute nightmares.

As a fan: As long I don't think, the show is fine. How is Maldover still alive over 200 years? She appeares in the church scene in the past and in the future with the "raiders". What is the "ghoul serum" that's keeping the Ghoul Cowboy from going feral & not introduced in the games? I know show didn't introduce what are V.A.T.S but why are fanboys say that the Cowboy is using V.A.T.S when he's not using a friggin PIPBOY? There's no such called "deadeye" just because he's a Cowboy, in one of the Fallout game the term "deadeye" is treated as a joke. These don't seem like season 2 questions
