I was blown away with how faithful to the games this series is, they even pull off the goofy stuff and video game aspects perfectly. I love how unapologetic it is. Like, yeah, they've used a stimpack. Of course they're fine now.

I haven't played Fall Out. But I can clearly see that the games had the same game-logic as the ones I used to play back in the stone age. I love how they combine complex story and characters with the weird gadget and colorful scenery. We are in a game world and this is how it works.

So, I just realized that Jet causes heightened reflexes to a point where the user sees things in slow motion. That raider that took Jet probably felt that door coming down and crushing him in half REALLY slowly.

Watched the show... bought Fallout:New Vegas on sales that came with the release... ran through two runs(Mr. House, Yes-Man), bought Fallout3(last day of sales on Epic) with DLCs, ran through that... Now on summer sales bought Fallout4 So since the realease of the show I am through 4 FNV runs(one for each ending), full F3 run(with DLCs) and on third Fallout4 run(did BoS and the Institute+ all DLCs at least once) - 89hr on FNV, 169hr on F4 and probably 60ish on F3.

@@alwayzchillin0714Honestly I think it’s so great that all three main actors took different approaches to the games, so we’ve got The Ghoul knowing nothing so he’s able to point out if something makes sense with no prior game knowledge, Maximus who’s watched streams so he gets the general vibe, and Lucy who’s straight up played them herself to get a better feel for why the world matters to gamers. It’s a great mix!

About the shitter thing...in the real world, the US Army and Marines set up semi-permanent latrines buy building outhouses on platforms over steel drums. They're mainly only used for feces (they usually find a private corner to pee on the ground). Some poor schmuck gets assigned "shit detail" where everyday, they swap out the steel drums for "fresh" drums and carry the full drums to the waste area, mix gasoline and used motor oil into the "soup" and burn it off. Then they rinse out the drums with water and put them next to the latrines for the next day (depending on how often they fill up). I assume the Brotherhood of Steel uses old tires because they're of limited use for recycling versus steel drums, so the Initiates move the tires over, shovel the shit out of the hole into carts, haul the shit to an area so it can dry and become manure for their crops. Back in the day, from the Middle Ages into the early 1900's, people collected dung from their animal pens, barns, outhouses, and their chamber pots to use as manure and to sell for making potassium nitrate, aka salt petre, which was a main ingredient for blackpowder. They would also save their urine and sell it to tanneries, which processed animal hides into leather. Potassium nitrate, manure, and urine would be useful trade items for the BOS, which they could trade for fruits and vegetables and other items they needed for crafting. The same sort of thing would happen in Vaults, except it's more automated and no trade with the outside for most Vaults. Power Armor undersuits have waste collection just like astronaut undergarments. During a mission, the Knight's scribe empties the urine bladder and helps the Knight change diapers if Being a Squire is a higher level of shit detail, so most Knights are assholes and treat their Squires just like they were treated so instead of getting out their armor to use the latrine, they probably use their diapers and urine bladders just to give the Squire messy tasks to complete as busy work. Until the early 1900's the Kings and Queens of England had Royal Attendants who wiped their asses. Shit detail. Shit detail never changes. :)

There to basically showcase all the factions and characters, it feels mostly like a joyride. As gamers I was hoping you'd do a react to this show as you'll have a different appreciation for it to non gamers. I play WoW but hadn't played Fallout and thoroughly enjoyed this series so you don't need to know the games. Everything's set out well with emphasis on the 'show' rather than 'tell'. The characters are great and Goggins as ever is superb. I love the retrofuture aesthetic and it has great world building as it progresses. So much so that I've now dipped a toe into the Fallout games. You've got a treat in store as you progress through it!

I have come to a point that I have been watching you guys for over a year now and every other reaction channel I cycle through in about a month and lose interest because they are either too disinterested or slow to catch onto things. @@alreadyblack3341 an example of my disorder would be if someone told me that I was not allowed to do something I would do it compulsively or 🤞🏻I would hopefully recognize the reaction and correct it to a more considerate action. I have gotten better about it but as a child I would attack people who saw themselves as my authority figures and spent much of my childhood locked away in various high security hospitals and once a juvenile prison for the criminally insane where my cellmate was a fifteen year old who attempted to stab his parents to death in their sleep and I was just nine and they put me in that place because I almost killed a kid who attacked me in the locker room and about twelve adults failed to restrain me so they began strangling me because I was basically feral. Anyway apologies for the run on sentences I'm awful about punctuation but my vocabulary is ever expanding since I began reading Steven King novels at four years of age. Have a wonderful rest of your day and may you be blessed enough to wake up with less issues than I have lol.

Fallout 3 and New Vegas for sure the inspiration for the series. IMO Maximus saying he would die to advance the Brotherhoods goals is why he was promoted, loyalty to the cause of the brotherhood is waning IMO The giant bag the squires carry is an inside joke about the players ridiculous inventories.
