Something to watch for that you've seen twice already in this episode, Lucy's "Okey-dokey". Every time she says it throughout this season it is in a different situation and evokes a different feeling. One silly little phrase, but it is a tiny example of the great writing and excellent acting that brings it to life. After you've seen the entire season, look up the short on KZbin, 'Every "Okey Dokey" in Fallout'. It's interesting to see it all again back to back and how different the delivery of each is.

This is probably the most authentic, unjaded reaction vids on the Fallout the Series I've seen - and I've watched everything in the search. THIS IS HOW YOU DO IT. KZbinrs, nobody gives a damn about your stupid lore nitpicks & WellActuallys about retcons. I want to see joy, adoration, curiosity & relatable LOVE for the Wasteland, the same way I do. This is legitimately the only vid that had me both in tears & laughter. So wonderful to see someone not doing it for the clicks & content, but purely for the love of the game. I have only one question: Where'd you get your Vault Jumpsuit, Kageric? It's so vivid & awesome.

Enjoy the story, revel in the reflection of the lore, delight in the aesthetic & turn off your left brain for a half second. Largely, the video reviews I've seen are GENERALLY positive - esp from way-gone fanboys - but the complaints are poorly thought out nitpicks about supposed timeline continuity mistakes & retcons that are so annoying. Like are you sure & BTW who gives a damn. To their credit, Todd Howard, Graham Wagner & Geneva Robertson-Dworet are much more generous to those making gross assumptions about how the show deviates from the canon, but then they quickly say "Their wrong. Just wait."

That was great! The show has really met all my hopes! Lucy is perfect in the role. So naive, innocent, gullible but still ready to take on the horrors of the wasteland. The BoS is perfectly made. Also gotta say. Noone is pointing it out. But the pregnant eyefork girl also plays her role SO good! Would have loved for her to have a bigger role in this. She is so fallout'y. She was definitely the one character that instantly fit into a fallout vault setting, while still getting a feel for the rest of the characters and the story. Her shape of her belly is even the same shape as in fallout iconry. The colours was the first that made you think "fallout".... She was the first character to make you rly feel "fallout".

2:11 The thing is, apart from Rex, all companion dogs are different dogs, but are all named Dogmeat. Dogmeat goes all the way back to the original Fallout in ‘96, where he was a reference to The Road Warrior, one of the Mad Max films.

Well, there is some Mad Max reference I'm sure, but moreso I'm pretty sure Dogmeat is a reference to A Boy And His Dog (1975 movie based on a Harlan Ellison novel of the same name), which was a big inspiration for Fallout from the beginning.

You were super cute with how hyped you were getting when you recognised certain things, great reaction video! :) A couple of suggestions though: - Make sure you have your audio/video tracks properly synced, there are a few bits where it was completely out of sync and I almost switched away immediately when they were out of sync at the start of the video (although I'm really glad I didn't!) - Make sure your audio levels are balanced properly, your voice was *very* loud compared to the show audio when you got excited and sounded like it was clipping a bit at times I've watched a whole bunch of reactions so far and yours is one of the best (and most genuine) so keep it up!

@@Kageric You've got the most difficult part (in my opinion) nailed and that's the general pacing/timing of your cuts which the vast majority of channels just can't get right. A lot of channels cut videos far too short so you miss a lot of context/setup for scenes and a lot of channels put far too much emphasis on their reactions to things specifically and completely forget to show what they're reacting to. Since you're clearly a big Fallout fan I'm assuming you've watched/recorded everything already (if you haven't you have more willpower than I do) and if you've not scouted out the competition there's a few great channels worth checking out to see how they do things if you want a bit of inspiration moving forward. Blind Wave (group reaction/analysis), Spartan & Pudgey (Aussie couple reacting), pReview'd (reaction/comedy bits), Mary Cherry (Aussie chick just diving in to new stuff), funnylilgalreacts (reactions) and Kat & Sonny (Danish couple reacting) are all fantastic to watch. They are my favourite reaction channels and all approach from different perspectives, some are massive nerds, some are just getting into things, some take deeper more analytic dives, some just do it for fun, etc. and I'd highly recommend giving them a watch and taking notes if there's any aspects that you like. Looking forward to the rest of the episodes! 🤠

I played like 30 minutes of fallout 3 and it kept crashing so never went back to Fallout. I love the story of Fallout and postapocalyptic stuff in general so I'll probably give it another shot. Love your enthusiasm and background knowledge - puts a smile on my face.

It's insuring that the game still works when you are multiple years out from release and driver updates often require game updates and things go a bit haywire. Seeing the Prydwyn's reveal in F4, especially at night, is awesome. Definitely a highlight of that game. But seeing it, even for a moment in this was incredible. It looks identical. Maybe a bit more battle ready (the blimp looking portion looks like it's armoured up more than in game)

Yes!! I'm a big fan of that moment in the game. It still gives me chills even after so many playthroughs. It was really cool to see it in the show too! I didn't notice that detail with the Prydwen's extra armour at first, so that's cool you pointed that out!

Something interesting that I don't think anyone noticed about Vault 33. And that is its location. You can see, from the pier, that it is located in Santa Monica. If you Google map the location and angle she sees the pier, Vault 33 must be located under the RAND corporation. If you don't know anything about RAND, look them up.

I just started playing Fallout 3 again for the first time since it was released, and loving every second of it... Got a modlist for that? Oh, and great reaction vid by the way, love your enthusiasm. 👍☢❤

When I played Fallout 3, I used a Wabbajack modlist called Begin Again. I highly recommend it! It stays fairly true to the original game while making it more appealing graphics and mechanics wise. Plus it also incorporates Tales of the Two Wastelands so you can hop on over to New Vegas once you're done with Fallout 3! Also, big thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it! 👍☢

Loved the reaction! Great to see another fallout fan. So vault 31, 32, and 33 are all connected. The rest of the show explains why. This vault complex is located in Los Angeles/Santa Monica, California metro area. My favorite quote so far (para phrase a little) "no cousin stuff. It's great for practicing but not for recolinizing the surface " lmao.

HAH. You having a cosplay vault suit AND immediately recognising sugar bombs.. Well.. now thère's a dead-giveaway You have actually played the games quite seriously. Me, having 407 hours in Fallout 4 alone, I was constantly in awe HOW well the show kept to the lore, made the props exàctly as they should be. Colour palette, set dressing, NOT shying away from the ultra-gore (one of the perks that gave me no end of joy :P ) all top-notch. And the characters? Yup. EVERYONE is actually insane. Everyone in his/her own way. It's everything I only dared dream of.. and they did it, actually did it. Weird and funny as heck too. S2 is going to be even more epic if the "little" hint at the end of ep 8 is any indication. (That critter stìll gets me sweating when encountering it... No weapon èver seems powerful enough to prevent me from getting gutted.. multiple times.. 🤣 )

I watched it last week and all this week watched fallout players react to it. I loved it and wanted to see other fans freak out when they see all the details. The tone and the gore are just like the game. I definitely want to see you watch the last episode. You’re jaw will hit the ground. The episodes keep getting better and the story is insane, like a good Fallout game!

5:13 The scene when he got stabbed to the wall was deleted. The Raider said" Stick around" Hope next season they have Synths show up and we get a clue how Fallout 4 events played out. If that was the Prydwen then we know the BOS won in Fallout 4 and defeated the Institute. Not sure where Elder Maxson is at.

Oh, interesting! Didn't know that! Also, I think it is the Prydwen! Another fan pointed out that when you zoom in to the blimp it seems to say Prydwen on the side I guess there may still be synths around either way, as the Institute/Railroad being destroyed wouldn't have killed them all. So that'd be interesting to see for sure!
