Supposedly New Vegas anti crash doesn’t do anything. Your gonna want the 4GB patcher and New Vegas tick fix to prevent crashes, that’s what worked for me at least.

@@Choomba-j8u Apparently Bethesda don't make Fallout games, only Interplay _(Fallout 1)_ Black Isle _( Fallout 2)_ & Obsidian _(New Vegas)_ make Fallout games, Bethesda hate the franchise & are deliberately trying to ruin it by making Fallouts 3,4 & 76 which are some of the most popular, critically acclaimed games ever made. That's according to New Vegas fanboys.

yeah fallout new vegas needs mods and lots of adjustments to settings to fix before you can play. I had one time where certain doors just crashed my game but still my one of my fav games. It's like each fallout new vegas copy has certain bugs depending on your hardware or vibe :) I wish Besthesda didn't rush and generally screw over Obsidian when they made this game. I think Playstation verison used to (or maybe still does) have a thing where you couldn't finish the game because the save files were so messed up. Fallout New Vegas is a great game stuck behind a bunch of bugs & issues. It's got great story, fun voice acting, goofy game play and really cool setting. Good DLC too. I feel like anytime I want introduce this game to my friends I'd likely have to go round their place to install all mods and fix the game to run for them irl. sucks man. Also wish they would at least hire a few modders to fix it up a little or someone to fix up this mess a little. fyi remember to tip modders if you can!

You might look at the viva new vegas mod list, made my game a lot more stable. It's a somewhat involved install, and I've heard it's a bit outdated now, but it could really help.

just use VNV instructions and you wont have crashes ever again. clean base for your game with instructions how to install. if you don't use them engine fixes mods you will have same shit like in this video - crashes all the time. I installed game + VNV mods + my own list of mods and i got only 4 crashes after 20 hours of gameplay. and even those were just bugs from ED-E animations caused by overhaul mod.

If you are using the popular new vegas anti crash mod it's outdated and people suggest you not install it since it tends to crash the game every 3mins.

Ahhhh yes. Considireded the best in game in series you cannot play normally... you need 40 mods to make the game even stable and pray to make it work (and I was the unlucky one, it didnt work) btw : why when your game crashes, it plays Terraria Journey´s End. Is that some wallpaper engine thing or just edited audio?

i have no clue how people manage to crash new vegas so often, i've done a full playthrough with all the DLC and didn't have a single crash throughout, whilst having a pc probably the same age as the game
