Fallout New Vegas Legion Armor

this is specifically the Legion Centurion Armor. there's a Loading Screen Note that mentions Legion Centurions being the Elite of the Legion's soldiers, who wear patchwork armor crafted from pieces of the armors of their fallen enemies. Regular Legion Armors are combinations of Pre-War American football pads and uniforms with additional robes, hoods, and pieces to make them into a more standard uniform, which is why the armor is Light and kinda weak compared the Medium armor worn by the NCR Troopers

The loading screen said its made from fallen foes including thier dead allies. Thats why the captured legion in ncr camp cried when a ncr officer insulted his armour

If this was on fallout 4 the power armor piece would be unable to wear without the frame beacuse it would be really heavy

in New Vegas though, there are NCR Heavy Troopers stationed at the Dam who are literally wearing power-armor WITHOUT the power, having salvaged the components to wear them as incredibly heavy, yet effective armor from a previous War the NCR had against the Brotherhood back West. reason being a lot of the Powered parts of the armor were destroyed/sabotaged by the Brotherhood as they retreated. also there were very few NCR members who had Power Armor training. it was more economical to just have the best Army troopers wear the armor for important Defensive roles that didnt involve a lot of long-distances the Fallout 4 Power Armor frames kinda break the lore of the games before it, overall size and weight is bigger, and also ANYONE can just hop in and use it with no Training (leave Power Armor unattended in a Settlement and NPC's will jump into it during an attack)

It worked well against the half-naked tribals and raiders, becoming practically standard issue. Beyond brotherhood which got its ass utterly kicked, NCR is the first real challenge for the legion.

I knew its alwaya like this cause the ncr got their clothes ripped off for some reason lol. also the legions doing this is like taking a trophy anyways
