Most highly detailed accounts leading up to and on the resource wars I've seen so far. And I've lost count how many Fallout lore videos I've watched now. Definitely watched a few on resource wars and origins of great war. But this was definitely most detailed and comprehensive. Yeah you'd do a great and fair review of the series. I got a feeling series is going to be good though. Director of Westworld directing , and producer is a Fallout fan big time. So lore is going to be authentic, and it's an all new timeline,so room for stuff to be explained. And will be explained in the first couple episodes I'm sure.

A very good video but the people who made fallout did not think very well of their ideas it seems. First it is very funny that the creators were trying to show America as this anti socialist country when they were doing the exact things the socialist countries were doing. Also, they did not seem to think about the fusion or green vehicles as even if the power source is fusion or electric it would still need petroleum to make the vehicle work as it would need lubricants, just like all of the robots and other mechanical devices such as Power Armor and aircraft as well. It has normally been a very good story overall, but the writing has really suffered with 76 dlcs in my opinion. Also I could have misunderstood, but as an example of bad writing can be found with the newest Season 16 lite ally. If you go through the script it turns out that Broadway is a huge smoking crater, according to the ally, so it seems they have now ruled out, if I understood correctly, New York as a setting so maybe people who are saying San Fransico will be the Fallout 5 location, but I have no idea if it is or not. (Updated) I also have a lot of questions about how they say the bombs dropped, as one would believe that the sub launched missiles would hit first on both coasts at the same time and they would have been synchronized with the mainland icbm launches. If the northeast coast areas were hit first means the sub in Boston harbor launched early otherwise all of the mainland icbms would have come from north to south as China would have had to launched them over the north pole for them to reach their targets properly and that is how the targets would have gone with the largest number of missiles hitting military and heavy industry first followed by few missiles hitting civilian (not located with heavy industry) targets last. Also the Defcon 2 would have been were the country would have been for years as that is the alert level for non-nuclear war, Defcon one is nuclear war.

Most of Big MTs experiments and creations are Pre-War, while all of the Institutes creations are made Post-War and factory produced. The best Transhuman experiment Big MT did was making some Cybernetics and Pickering their Brains in Jars which slowly turns them delusional. The Institute on the other hand can literally Create People who can have foreign consciousness uploaded into them, as we see with Valentine and Curie. And the Institutes Cybernetics can literally make you immortal. And lastly, the Institutes teleportation is much more powerful. The Bjg MTs Teleportater is limited to a single gun, and can only transport one user. The Institute also has future plans for bigger things such as Underwater Synth Animals for Sea Salvaging and Construction. Fruits made Radioaction-Immune from Super Mutant Genetics, more Advanced models of Plasma Weapons, and if you side with them, after their ending, they plan on the next model of their Reactor to run on Antimatter, and begin something called a *”DARK MATTER INITIATIVE.”* Big MT is Centuries more advanced, My Ass.

There is evidence to suggest that during the Sino-American War, the Moon Race was an Armed Conflict. The War Memorial depicts a Astronaut with a Laser Pistol on the Moon, and the Plaque also describes a “Battle on the Sea of Tranquility” that phrase is often used to describe the Lunar Surface. There’s much more evidence for this, as there’s also a Magazine depicting a Soldier wearing a cool type of Space-Worthy Mech Suit with a caption *“US ARMY GOES TO SPACE”* with a Rocket Ship in the Background. And recently and most interestingly, Fallout 76 got a new *“Enclave Space Power Armor”* easy microtransaction bait or an implication that there’s an Enclave Base on the Moon? Ironically, this would fit with the original Van Buren Lore for the Enclave, with them having a Space Station Orbiting Earth and a long-term plan to Colonize new Worlds unspoiled by War and Radiation. *This is how the Enclave can return.*

Fell in love when Fallout came out for PC back in '97. All time favorite is still Fallout Tactics though, the third installment and first to allow for a free range gaming experience. I feel like this game got sidelined by many other games coming out around that time (early 2000's) and therefore didn't quite get the notoriety it could have. I skipped Fallout 3 (4th installment) and put a few hours into Fallout 4, which I thoroughly enjoyed. Didn't get a chance to try '76. When I got news of the show I was psyched, and now having watched all 8 episodes, am thoroughly satisfied and am looking forward to the next season. IMO they did a great job at not only maintaining the old school PC fallout days, but integrated nicely with the newer console games as well.

Fallout's universe is fascinating to me. Such levels of tech and the horrors of Man never cease to grab my attention, especially in regards to the Great War. There are so many stories, so many terminals that just give us a taste of just how fucked everything was back then. By far the most chilling is the set of audio logs you collect during one of F3's sidequests, one of them taking place during the moment the bombs fell. Little things like this paint a terrifying picture of what the world was like pre-Fallout, and how in many ways, it wasn't much better off. Once again, you nail your vids Fish. Keep up the good work.

I think everyone also misses an important aspect of the fallout universe: Aliens were heavily influenting technology and politics. I personally think the real secret is that aliens were giving humans technology in a way that would garuntee resource shortages to come before humans mastered space flight. During WWII, the people of the world put their differences aside and united as one against a common threat and came out on top, which ushered in an era of peace and prosperity. But then came the generation that was born into this luxurious world rather than struggle for it and thus, were oblivious to what it took to get to this point. Instead, they were too busy reaping all the rewards, growing more and more arrogant and fat. Then when it all started to fall apart, the spoiled generation, having no semblance of unity or compassion, turned on eachother. Rather than unite as one in the face of a common enemy, like their predecessors had done, they wasted their resources waging war with one another and subscribing to selfish ultra nationalism. And it all came to a head when the bombs fell and the spoiled generation paid for its misdeeds via scorching by atomic fire. And those that tried to escape this fate in the vaults found themselves as test subjects for horrific experiments, brought on by the very corporations they put their blind trust in. Now it’s up to the new post war generations to learn from the mistakes of the past and rebuild the world.

Over the years, I’ve watched a lot of videos, explaining the lore of different nations in fallout, but I would really like to see it. Like how in this world, Venice might be underwater, and you could explore it with aqua boy. Or travel to Australia or London, and see the take on culture that would’ve evolved after this type of conflict. Especially if some of these places were not directly hit by nuclear weapons. Or heck even some type of enclave scientist just talking about different expeditions he’s been on so we can gain a larger understanding of this Fallout world.

Well I have some news for you! Fallout london, a total overhaul mod for fallout 4. Is comming out this month! And was endorsed by bethesda, at least a while back. As for fallout australia... see mad max, the game. It'd prolly happen in the fallout universe, since we DO have some untapped oil in the straight between Tasmania and victoria. And because cars are fun. Same goes for the metro series looking at what russia could look like post bombs, though both clearly are not fallout games. They do share some themes that crop up in fallout.

I think that the fallout show should have been dated around 2306. I feel that would have brought the timeline more into balance. Giving the destruction of Shady Sands happening around 2283/84. Aging Lucy around 3 and her brother around 1.5 years old. Thus making Lucy around 23 years old at the time of her quest to save her father.

Imagine if Bethesda made the new game Fallout 5: The Great War. They could uncover all the plot and the secrets of Vault Tec Lore with it.

we're actually not that far from a nuclear terrorist attack in tel aviv if things continue as they are.

Crazy the title of the video was the shortest part of the video. Because it’s hard to make a video about something that lasted a view minutes lol.

On paper the general concept of having select populations form small communities in extremely deep underground bunkers isn’t that bad of an idea. However seeing how bad inflation got (or the coolant on the Red Rocket sign is for liquid helium/hydrogen and Bethesda just wants to make inflation/prices however high it wants), that would mean that a lot of zeroes were sunk into Project Safehouse and the subsequent experiment setups.

Forgot to mention that when the chinese did capture a few power suits and tried to make their own, they discarded it because it was too bulky and clumsy to use on field, so they stuck with their cloaking technology, which they developed the suit called "hei guai" for espionage, sabotage and other behind enemy line operations

They believed they designed their own model, the problem was that without fusion cores they were unable to create them on a large scale.

Very good video and an interesting lore data dump. Who doubts for a second that America would indeed invade its neighbours if it felt like it?

Love the story but the Year timeliness have completely confused me. Swear I'm hearing that from 1966-2070 that the war for natural resources took place with "The Great War" happening in 2077 and only lasting 2 hours. Maybe I'm just tired for not having slept for a week

Not billions died during the sino-american war but probably some millions. During fallout 4 the television said that tension were extremly high, not that they were at war so, maybe, there was a truce after the Alaska invasion ( or, more realy, lying )
@MrCuddlecoff8 ай бұрын
They werent. The US was in mailland China. The whole World based on numerous accounts throughout fallout series were turned to a big wasteland, so billions dying is highly likely

There is a paper in the Mahkra fishpacking it reads(China showdown the atom ultimatum. It talks about the war and lives lost but it mentions how the Chinese attacked anchorage, and then the Americans got into china's doorstep. Shantou) The funny investigation on another channel talks about how the Americans got power armour and plasma weapons because of aliens lol
