I'm looking into collecting the Minutemen, as they are my preferred faction in Fallout 4 and I've always liked their aesthetic, with the dusters, cocked hats, and laser muskets. Unfortunately, there's not really a lot of explanation or advice on how to run Minutemen.

Question about rules. When it comes to crits and quick actions, are all creatures able to use them or just heroic?

It depends on the unit. Most only have the Prepare quick action, but higher level stuff have more. And there are creature perks that can add more buffs, too

My son is getting into the game with me. He’s wanting to go with creatures. I haven’t seen all the rules with them. He’s wanting to go with mirelurks, fog crawler and Yao guai, can they all be played together? Assuming it’s within the cost range.

Preston has got Speciality for Laser Muskets - so he should hit on 8 not 6 :)… that would have been some more hits :)

Holy smoke, you're right - I've been reading his card wrong all this time! He gets the long barrel for free, AND he should get the +2 to hit. On most cards these buffs would be listed separately, but I was confused because they're on the same line. D'oh!
