Great video! The armor mechanic has changed but was not eliminated. Many humanoid characters now begin with no armor and must equip armor separately.

If you haven't already, you might want to check out Stargrave, and the Wanted Dead or Alive supplement. You play a band of space faring bounty hunters. There are 20 missions and a mission generator for even more criminals that need taking down.

Thanks for this; always good to hear different perspectives. On the models, I would say the resin figs (which is everything but the starter box for the moment) are quite good sculpts and casts, although resin is a little different to work with than HIPS, and you don't have all the optional bits you'd get on a HIPS sprue, for sure. The resin they use is also a bit annoying in that it doesn't play nice with all primers. I know from personal experience that Stynylrez works fine and I imagine there are others. It does look like they're moving to HIPS for the future though. Upcoming re-releases of core boxes for Super Mutants, Raiders, Survivors and BoS are apparently going to be HIPS. On cards, the bad news is that many of them beyond the first wave don't seem to be available. The good news is that nearly all of them seem to have free PnP versions available to download. Early beta versions were not printer friendly but the file versions I was looking at recently are. If you duplex 175-200 gsm stock in your inkjet and laminate them, you'll have something nearly as good as professionally printed cards.

PVC is in the starter set only (they do have resin replacements for all of the PVC minis at an extra cost), everything else is resin and recent sets like the T-45 Power Armor are plastic sprues. I believe the new sets coming with Factions (usable in Wasteland Warfare) are in plastic as well. I do agree that the resin kits are overpriced on the level of WH 40K prices which is on the extreme high side of an already expensive hobby. That said I do love this game and the resin minis look very good. Check out the new Hollywood Heroes box if you are into the new TV show.

I don't know why but i don't enjoy skirmish games solo, they are usually fiddly with the ai

I gave up on Skyrim, the rules were worthless, never understand why they didn't use the Fallout rules for it.
