I can just imagine Deacon listening to Desdemona telling him about the time she, a gunner conscript who apparently used to be a track runner, a friendly mutant hound, a cuddly mirelurk, and an incredibly lost legion scout fought off a couple yao guai to steal their picnic basket. All the while Deacon is thinking to himself "and I thought I lied a lot".

I think the lucky break in the beginning really changed the tone with the Bears whiffing attacks early on. Those beasts hit like trucks and it definitely could’ve turned tides in an instant had they made their INT rolls!

No doubt! When I playtested the missio I gave them 50/50 odds to make smart choices instead of an INT roll....it did not end well!

Only just got into fallout wasteland warfare and I must say, as a solo gamer this has been the most impressive and immersive miniatures skirmish game Ive ever played. Very much a solid melee between that Hunter and Yao Guai, which could have gone either way if played out to the bitter end. Des is really just so good all around with the railway rifle that she truly earns the the title of being an All Star. I am looking forward to seeing season 3 already. Perhaps some Gunners or Children of Atom action in the new season?

Does rolling 2 saves both damage when You have 1+1 armour? Isnt it the target 1, so You fail the save and the extra 1 just saves 1 regardless of the roll? Edit: just checked Yao Guai have 2+1 armour, must have been slip of the tongue.

Good question! I had a lot of armour breaks when attacking the bears, so their 2+1 got knocked down to 1+1 a fair bit
