The problem I run into is that many pastors aren't addressing the spiritual matter of things. Go to church and leave the same way for years. We need them to go deeper and start teaching how to walk and fight and live victorious in the spirit. That's why folk can go see Beyonce and go right back to church..they dont know the spiritual implications

My former Pastor never said covering but she many times said that she was our SOUL WATCHER... I honestly didn't even know what she meant by that but truth be told she was a raging control freak (Her way or no way). Anyway I'm no longer a member of that church after 15 years.. I started to seek God for myself and study the Word for myself and God called me out of that church building.

Very similar story to me. My former pastor was also a raging intimidating control freak (her way or no other way). It is only by prayer and the grace mercy of God that my wife and I and our son are out of there. Many people are in bondage in the "church" than in the world! God bless

I've had a couple pastors mention a covering a couple times. It's not something I've heard often. But when it is mentioned, it's not that I am accountable to them, but rather, they as pastor are a bit responsible for covering us with prayer, and that because they pray so much for the church, we are automatically under that covering by being planted in the church. I haven't noticed a spirit of pride in my pastor, and he is always pointing everyone to Jesus, and says much of the same things you do. I wonder if he just picked this tradition up accidentally, and not as a power trip. Either way this is very eye opening and I'm takin notes

Pastor Kevin, if I may, with all due respect (I mean this lIterally, MUCHESPECT TO YOU AND ALL YOU DO): The earthly covering with respect to a pastor, or other member of clergy or whatever, of course that is absolutely a fallacy. God bless you for your boldness in proving that. There is, however, one God ordained earthly covering, and that is of a husband to his wife. "and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee" (Gen 3:16b) this does not connote tyranny on the part of the husband, but earthly covering (protection, leadership, authority) "Now when I passed by thee, and looked upon thee, behold, thy time was the time of love; and I spread my skirt over thee, and covered thy nakedness: yea, I sware unto thee, and entered into a covenant with thee, saith the Lord GOD, and thou becamest mine." (Ez 16:8) This is where God speaks of marrying Israel.... Lev 18:7 "The nakedness of thy father, or the nakedness of thy mother, shalt thou not uncover: she is thy mother; thou shalt not uncover her nakedness." and all of the verses regarding UNcovering the nakedness of a man's wife. So if to UNcover his nakedness is to lie with his wife, then it must be that the husband is the accepted, or official covering of his wife. "Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it" (Eph 5:25) The earthly husband represents the Bridegroom which is Christ in the earthly home. "But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God." (1 Cor 11:3), Christ covers the man, and the man covers his wife under the authority of Christ. "Every vow, and every binding oath to afflict the soul, her husband may establish it, or her husband may make it void." (Num 30:13) God will not even consider the vow of a woman if her husband forbids it, even if the husband is in the wrong; the sin will be on the husband's head. This is the responsibility of the husband as the earthly covering of the wife. This is where the idea of a father "giving away" his daughter to her husband. It's a picture of God giving authority of a man to cover His daughter under the authority of Christ. This is the biblical covenant of marriage (regardless of ceremony). A vow to God to perform the biblical roles of husband and wife, before two witnesses. In writing it's called a ketubah (Hebrew word for "writing'), which is what God gave to Israel at Sinai in the form of the tablets of stone (10 Commandments), and when Moses read these commandments aloud to them they agreed by saying "all these things we will do". That was the marriage covenant. The vows. Moses was the officiant. A father covers his household under Christ, including his children until they leave (their father and mother) and cleave to their spouse. The daughters as helpmeets to their own husbands and sons as covering to their own wives and children. 🙏🏽🕊️🕊️✝️🙂🕎

@estherphillip Yes! We have to seek God's will when we are considering marriage/covenanting with a man. We need to be able to trust this man and know that Gos has entrusted him with the responsibility in leading us. The word "nourish" in Ephesians 5:29 is similar to the idea of raising children. It means our husband must lead, "rear up to maturity", "to train". (Strong's #G1625) So we must not marry a fool because we need to submit to him according to God's divine order. 🙏🏽

U said no human spiritual coverings that’s the point of this video I know ur aware of the fact that “Man is the head of the woman” so obviously women have a covering- those that are married. Experientially, I’ve seen this to be true. A husband, taken over by a lord or principality or ruler. He was possessed. I refuted it and consistently saw victory. I left and was tormented relentlessly only to see relief under the covering of the marriage. So (even still) the technicalities of the law cause suffering (not my point- just a note). So under the covenant- problems and apart from the covenant more problems. The point though- “man IS the head of the woman” The curse “…. And he WILL RULE over [woman].” And “the daughters of Sarah…” serve their husbands AS UNTO THE LORD “without FEAR…. “ I always thought it was interesting that the subject of fear is inadvertent for the daughters of Sarah who serve their husbands faithfully as unto the LORD. I say that because what was terrifying actually was the LORD… (a side note…while in it I thought it was the enemy, some of it was, but then a lot of it was the LORD actually punishing me for what I haven’t mentioned….. lol). But anyway… lol (not physical violence btw I’m not advocating abuse or anything like that. I see it more as God loving me enough to resist me face to face through my husband 😂 wowy buddy let me tell you 😅 lol that was not him lol that was the LORD LOL … anyway. ) Also- New Testament We’re to bear one another’s burdens - that involves using our shield of faith to aid one another. We cover one another with our faith. The fellowship acts itself as a kind of covering or protection. Last point- we’re to be intercessors (those of us called to it under the anointing) that is itself a covering. (Jesus said He desperately wanted to gather us like chickens under His wings like a mother hen but we (they) were unwilling and that meant the fellowship…) So just wondering how u fit that in with the idea that it’s unbiblical not to have other humans as covering. I suppose metaphysically we can argue that it’s not the human’s covering but the Spirit of the LORD within us that covers anyway. The Godhead included the son…. So. We r the sons of God correct…? Update- another response (about the Catholics and hypocrites refuting the Catholics- I know it’s impossible to remember every single thing we say in our videos so I’m hoping to remind u in case u want to respond…) We’re indeed commanded to confess our sins one to another…. NOT (just) to Jesus. The Spirit of the LORD and in fact The Kingdom of heaven is within each of us who have been baptized (BY THE SPIRIT) and WE have been given authority to forgive sins BY HIS SPIRIT within us. Not us, but The LORD. So that’s just to agree that “they” are hypocrites saying that the Catholics r wrong for confessing to a priest… what I mean is- would u rather confess ur sins to anybody in the church AS INSTRUCTED…. Or at least have the security knowing that the priest is obligated under oath to keep your sins hidden since love covers a multitude of sins…. Meanwhile they think only to confess to Jesus alone and this is UNBIBLICAL. We’re to confess one to another. I find that when I do confess to a real person the sin disappears without any effort on my part. Hidden away somewhere the sin comes back over and over. Secrecy hides sin. Confessing to another person as commanded exposes it to the light and the sin is gone (maybe it’s God’s reward for taking His word literally…?) Old Testament says confess to God because He is righteous to forgive us. But the New Testament tells us to confess one to another and also not to judge others + Paul said he doesn’t even judge himself and so basically became emancipated from the act of judging himself leaving judgement to the LORD … you mention those who wish to undermine saying it’s here and then there…. But the Spirit is not in particles and pieces and packets but in POWER. The word even says that Kingdom of God is in POWER (above the word. His word is above His name But it also says that the Kingdom is in POWER not in word alone. The word is one level but walking with Him in His power is another level, and is a much better peace. Again just wondering what u think about these other scriptures. Not trying to “undermine” you just wondering how you personally fit these pieces together. All the pieces have to fit all the time…. That’s my conviction. All the pieces have to fit all the time and when the Word refutes itself then there’s iniquity in the equation. So I’m not correcting. We’re told not to be released from the state in which we were called….. we r told not to aim to be set free from the state in which we were called. And we are to subject ourself to others as a way to expose ourselves to environments that train us in our holy PATIENCE as we die to ourselves…. Patience is as salvation (it’s in the word. Patience is the vehicle of our salvation. It’s a sign of our salvation. Extreme longsuffering and patience is only possible in Him. The Old Testament is like King David fighting…. The New Testament is to endure suffering and accumulate a reward in heaven…. It’s a better reward. So we’re called to 1) respect and yield to authority because even WHEN authority fails it gives God (another) opportunity to show Himself as faithful when we see His mighty hand work autrhority in our favor because God “MAKES ALL THINGS work together for the good of those who love HIM.” He even controls the heart of pharaoh and can basically include all the annunaki and fallen ones… and every unrighteous king too…. 2) We’re told to submit ourselves as unto the LORD rejoicing at all times and in every circumstance SO THAT WHEN the passer-by (spiritual entities too…) sees and hears us they too are forced to acknowledge Jesus as the LORD … how? When the angels principalities powers and rulers see us praising and rejoicing even in our suffering they too must acknowledge that Jesus is indeed the LORD to have obtained a love stronger than death from us- a love from Him, IN is, through us, FOR Him unto Himself a worship and dedication to Him unlike the idolatry given to the lesser entities who have to manipulate and dismay and wrestle with man to obtain their worship. Jesus is LOVED and so He obtains His worship easily unlike the other deities who have to devise schemes ….. higher order. The spirit realm is more … is even more….. than what we could ask or think. Old and New testaments cannot be blended Irreconcilable war. The old covenant is still available SURE but trying to do both at the same time is a mistake i see basically every Christian making on accident. Even I do it….. the promises of the old are not the promises of the new… the old requires sacrifices… work…. Yokes…… the New Testament requires it too….. but the way is hard but His burden is light….. “I desire mercy and not sacrifice….” “Give” “sell” “turn” “judge not” and out your sword in its place…. But “the things regarding Me have an end…” and now I say buy a sword………….. His word is so beautiful lol but it flows it’s designed for freedom not rules and laws brother. His word is written in a way SO THAT we can obtain freedom not constant warfare. And when the strange things comes upon you “like” a thief in the night…. When u r perplexed and crushed and dismayed and weak then know that He is the LORD ❤ HE is so wonderful lol 😂🎉❤ The two covenants aren’t supposed to be blended too often people assume to blend them. They are mutually exclusive covenants I’ve had to learn it the hard way. I always tried to blend the old and new testaments. But you cannot obtain the benefits of the new covenant while burying ourselves in the old covenant. Jesus’s actual teachings…….. if taken literally and explicitly and seriously……. If we let Him alone be LORD only and no other than the suffering will come Because whoever LIVES by the sword WILL DIE by the sword (sword=word) whoever strives to live using the word will also die because of the word of His mouth which is DOUBLE edged….. He is beautiful. ❤ The Old Testament don’t lead us to the Father…….. only God. God as Father is much better…. So trying to force the old into the new can’t happen. We either submit to God or His Son…… lol and He wants us in the New covenant…… between …. I had to learn this the hard way…. Between ……. He was crucified… between two thieves…… and anyone….. who hangs….. on a tree…. Is cursed. Hear Me.
