Here's another quick tip for serious lash beginners. When you are starting to practice ALWAYS practice when you have no where to be and your just going to be chilling at home. That tip saved me so much frustration. I started out practicing when I had some where to be which stressed me out and inevitably made it darn near impossible. If you know you don't have plans you will be more relaxed and can take your time. This way if you completely mess up you dont have to worry about messing up your eye makeup also. Another huge tip for me was resting my arm the was applying the lashes on a surface so your steady. I get ready standing up so I rested my arm on the bathroom mirror! Good luck ladies. It took me about 6 times of practice and then I finally got it. Now its super easy

when I started I would apply lashes before my makeup, and then when I was ready I would ”clean” the top of the lash band with a q tip if there was fall out and go on top with a liner or mascara. Woila no more screwing up eyeshadow. (I would only apply primer or concealer on my lid before?

The second either doesn’t line up right- so it is lopsided, or else I get shaky and nervous and just mess it up, or it’s thicker so I have to add more to the first eye and then THAT’s bigger so I add to the second... a vicious cycle until I have raccoon eyes 😂

Hi! So I know you commented a bit ago, but if they’re sticking to your fingers it could be 1. You have too much glue on to begin with or 2. It’s still too tacky to squeeze. I hope that helps!! I find the lash glue applicators that are a brush rather than a squeeze tube are better with product control, I use the Duo brush on adhesive with vitamins(:

Saida Betances it kinda depends on the glue you use along with how much glue you put on. The less glue there is the less it need to dry, the mire glue the more time it’ll need. For me I go probably 15-30 seconds. I also don’t wave the lashes around or blow on them to help the glue get tacky. You’ll kinda just have to experiment some and figure it out. It won’t hurt to test it with your pinky to see how tacky it is first (:

As long as they are still in good shape as many times as you want! Highly recommend cleaning them but mostly you can get three to five uses at LEAST if they are disposable ones...some are meant for reusing too!

As long as they’re in shape as many times as you want! Definitely make sure to clean them between uses so they stay in good condition and you don’t see the grubby lash glue/mascara buildup in the lash. Then you’re good to go!

You need a lash tool. Most people struggling are likely struggling trying to put them on with their fingers. This can be an absolute nightmare and, no offense to Laura Lee, but lashes can be applied far more effectively with a much better finished look than she did here. Get a lash application tool. I do not recommend the tool that usually comes with fake disposable lashes. Sonia Kashuk has a phenomenal lash tool made of metal that I use every day and it seriously helped me up my lash game ten levels. It’s so much easier to apply the lashes and helps you apply them precisely and firmly. I don’t recommend using your fingers and jabbing around until you get them pushed down. Plus, your fingers have oil so the more oily products you apply on your eyeball after you’ve done your makeup, the more likely it is your lashes will pop up throughout the day. Get a GOOD lash application tool, ladies. Thank me later. You can buy cheap ones from Target.

I don't wear makeup so I have no experience, I can't get these things on for shit. The only time I can apply lashes where they actually stay on is when I fuck up nd put the last too far to the outer corner 😭😭

I found using magnetic lashes work good for me, you just use an eyeliner it comes with then pop the lashes on

Thank you for the video, it definitely improved my ability to get my lashes on. I found my main problem was that I had not always laid down the eyelash strip starting with the inner eye and I applied my eyelashes looking mostly straight ahead in the mirror. I corrected these two "don'ts" and that made the process so much easier.

I have used Kiss eyelashes for years & I do mean years! Before I retired all of the gals I worked with always said I was blessed with the most perfect eyelashes. The only person I shared my secrecy with was my best friend when I did her make up for her. Now she wears kiss every day too. U have very pretty eyes, luv the brown color, I always wanted brown eyes. U know they say brown eyes photograph better & I believe that’s true. Loved ur video I’m sure it helped a-lot of beginners. Keep up the good work. 👍✨⭐️✨
