Season 6 Episode 1: Often, the eyewitnesses of a crime are also the main suspects. They're able to manipulate the truth to throw off the authorities. When a murder is committed and deceit clouds the evidence, investigators turn to forensics to uncover the truth, expose a murderous lie and capture the killer.
The New Detectives is an American docudrama where world-renowned forensics experts and criminal investigators solve a wide range of cases.
Some scenes in this program have been reenacted, due to the sensitive nature of the show, viewer discretion is advised.

CASE 2 : Bruce was extremely stupid because after shooting her because he 1) put the glove on her hand ridiculously 2) threw the gun a couple of feet from her hand CASE 3 : A well-deserved life sentence for both murderers [This crime series has become my favorite alongside Forensic Files - many thanks !!!]

Officers are not detectives. Time spent in the force doesn’t provide you with that type of knowledge unless you’re trying to move into that field of work. Beat cops just answer the call and then the detectives, forensic teams and such and such move into the scene. It’s not cut and dry. Plus consider the time of the crime. Most of these are from the 80’s, 90’s.
