Believe me, we felt nothing but agony as the days passed. We wanted to stop her but respected her decision. Held our heads up high so we can see her off, smiling but most of us broke down once the day came. Laughs and tears. Happiness and sadness. I miss her greatly but I'm... we, are sure that she'll do fine. Plus we'll know through Gorilla Kanata what she's doing and whatnot since they live together and knowing that the other members will still get to hang out with her puts me at ease.

Coco's message in this last stream and in Holotalk to EN and also the rest of the members is so meaningful, to always push the envelope, to always be creative and to most importantly keep being happy. I feel her graduation is going to change the gal's content somewhat drastically, and we will see how flexible the management is willing to be, I am optimistic about it though, she was so important to Hololive I can't help to imagine her graduation has sent a clear message.

I kind of had an idea of who was going to be hit the hardest during this stream. The fact that most of them had to pre-record or else they would all become blabbering messes live was probably the best approach to sending her off. The last part where they sang together and Coco sent them off one by one you could see them all wiping tears. When Towa faltered during her lines in 'Shiny Smiley Story' I felt it hit me hard, so it made sense to me that they didn't want every part of the farewell to end in tears. Watame's stream afterwards was just a waterworks and I felt so bad for her. Roboco sounded like she died inside. I've never wanted to hug someone so badly as at those moments. The feelings are real, whether you invest in the avatars of the gals, they are real people behind them, and losing the ability to interact forever is tough. Everyone copes in their own way, so if they took time off I understood. If they needed comfort from fans I also understood. (EDIT): Thank you for your concise summaries of the events which happen in Vtuber-dom. It was an historic day for the community, whether people who join us in the future understand it or not.

I think the thing about them being pre-recorded is more to do with scheduling and such. There's no guarantee that everyone would be able to attend on the day. As we saw with EN, Gura didn't have time when theirs were planned, so she had to do a separate 1-on-1 with Coco.

It's weird as Coco is still there at her roommates Kanata and Suisei, so Coco will be able to interact with them just fine, but the virtual identity that everyone came to know and love is gone and this is the feeling that everyone (viewers and Hologirls alike) agrees that it simply sucks. I do hope she will continue on as Kson Onair, but that choice is on her. On a little side note, I hope Suisei is taking it well now she had some time to calm down and let it sink in, she was taking it hard and had a singing stream planned on the same day as Coco's "graduation" and everyone could hear that she was fighting to hold back the tears.

When your Company gets that big with gaining such a big audience in literally half a year you have also to think about 'social responsibilities' like Yagoo said in the Interview. The Hololive Girls already have alot of Freedom when it comes to what they wanna do on streams, Coco's shaving stream as example. Management has the important responsibility to assess the risks of every idea the girls come up with or they will just self destruct when not careful enough. We are living in times where a wrong placed word can get u banned by Chinas Government or canceled on Twitter and some seconds of any kind of copyrighted material, demonetized.

@@krellio9006 Did I say it was intended? And saying controversial things adding to the members fame is very narrowsighted. Just look at how Marine's and Miko's controversy with the one Artist ended. Both fanbases(the Artist's and Marine/Miko's) literally bombarded each other with hate comments which led to both the girls not streaming for more than a week and making an apology video. You also have to consider the mental health of the Hololive members not just their fame or did you already forgot that Coco broke down in tears once because of the Anti's? Many mistakes the Idols can potentially do can be avoided by management being a bit stricter. At the end of the day it's about protecting them not about gaining fame faster at the cost of the idols wellbeing.
