My favorite part was the complete irony of the main man of the Hermitcraft Recap, Pixlriffs, being on the server. I have watched the Hermitcraft Recap pretty much as long as I’ve been watching Hermitcraft, (since season 6), and the amount of jokes that were made in between Impulse and Grian, and the recaps that were recorded ON the Hermitcraft server, it was incredible.

Favourite bit was by far the False lore, i was genuinly shocked when the scary reveal thing happened, made me actually go watch more empires lore after that. I also really loved the updates on the hermit tower build it turned out really cool

My favorite part of the crossover was just the idea of the two series coming together. I knew that some Hermitcraft members had friends who were on Empires (and vice versa), and the crossover really shows it. It also provided the opportunity for people to meet new friends they wouldn't have met otherwise (e.g. Joe and Oli) and just have a lot fun together!

I think my favorite part of the crossover was seeing what each group built on the others server! I love the Hermitopia tower and the Christmas village so much they’re both such fun group builds :D And the flower beds with the coral look so pretty!! The colors are wonderful

Best thing about the crossover? Your lore 100% Before the crossover I was a casual watcher but since I've had notifs on and it was on my mind more than I'd care to admit. You said it was your first time trying something like this but you wouldn't know and so many people got invested in these characters you created. If you're up to do more (and only if you're comfortable) there are loads of us who would enjoy it. But whatever you do next, I'm now a dedicated viewer and you've become one of my favourite creators.

For some reason, my favorite moment of the crossover was Oli's reaction to finding out that the portal had shrunk to one block wide, "but I've eaten so much turkey!" It had me rolling.

Incredible progress False, I love the Axolotl pond! I was also inspired by Scar's coral-flowers, and found a great trick to integrate lighting into the flowerbeds by waterlogging mangrove roots with froglights beneath them! The light still comes up through the roots, and coral garden becomes a light feature at the same time 🤩

I loved the fact that being on the Empires server, most hermits had to work together. It was different, and fun. seeing what all those brains invented together? The Hermit Tower is an adorable, amazing monstrosity :) I also liked to see hermits who don't do it normally imerse themselves in lore, in story telling. Piratesuma? Adorable. Seeing Pixlriffs entering Hermitcraft and beeing able to experiment it for real, and not just comment on it, seeing him make this Recap episode live from BDubs coffee shop, was also an amazing moment. This collab made me feel happy and I really enojyed it all along.

Tango hanging with Shubble made me squee so much, especially wearing the hat, it was too cute! Doc riding around on that mount was fun to see, Grian & Impulse pranking Pix was perfect, Pix & Xisuma geeking out over David on both servers 😄 Xisuma & Cleo on a Pirates of the Empirabbean holiday and X's "FAT BiRD" still makes me laugh, the Hermit collab build was really great because it invited a lot of interaction between all of you.

The crossover was so so so amazing, it's hard to pick just one favourite thing that happened but the story you did with it is definitely up there! It was so cool how you gradually revealed the mysteries of your Empires character while still leaving more questions, and I'm super excited to see where your Empires season goes! You're really good at acting, both characters so similar but just slightly different, and the change in Empires False when she had her memories and evil personality back, it's all so cool and sometimes I even very briefly forgot that you're not actually two people behind the scenes! Also you talking about wanting a frog build in your base reminds me of last season when you just happened to build a frog in the episode that came out literally right before the livestream that revealed frogs were coming to Minecraft! I love how your base is going, that waterlogged slab coral flower trick really is amazing!

My favourite part of the crossover was every time there was Hermitcraft recap joke - "This week on Hermitcraft: me", when Pix came through the portal especially, and also when Grian and Impulse ambushed him with the Hermitcraft recap music. I also loved the Hermit shrinker on the Empires server, just seeing each Hermit go through that and get a tiny but shorter, and then Jimmy being shrunk another way in front of the shrinker machine, was hilarious. And of course I loved the two Falses storyline! I liked that both were in the same clip in Pix's Dodo stamping short too!

Pillagers cross bows break if they fire enough at your shield. Then they are just grumpy passive mobs. So if you spend enough time, they can be grumpy in a room in your base

1:00 A quick and effective way to harvest Amethyst is to flood the Geode. Add a Catalyst to breathe underwater and you won't even have to hold your breath. There are also high-efficiency automatic farms but they are very time consuming to make and must be customized to each Geode. Doc made one in the wall of the perimeter if you'd like to see one and are considering building your own. Somewhere online there is a plugin with commands that you can run to automatically scan a Geode near you and design the farm. It will create a ghost block overlay for you to follow.

For the Pillagers, as soon as you asked for suggestions, I immediately thought since there are so many open spaces that need decorating, you could either do some sort of an early printing press kind of area because they just have that vibe - you could decorate it to be a place to make paper and maps or print royal decrees or something! That, or you could decorate part of the castle as a barracks or something and they can be the guards (drinking on duty and wasting time).

The colab with EmpireSMP was creative and inclusive. The Hermits have a lot to offer to others. Hermits going out to visit other worlds is a good idea. Having them visit you is better later in the series once progression is made across the board. If you're still reading, I love your content!

Axolotl names: Alfie, Gelato and Florence Besides that, there's lots of little miscellaneous stuff you can do with rooms. Map room, Vine farm, Potion room (since the lab is in a bit of a state), A whole room that's like the Woodland Mansion statue rooms except it's a frog, and a library (kinda like the one Pearl had in her base last season!)

Your base is delightful False! I love when you garden quite honestly. As far as builds go and room ideas, I love rooms with purpose, even if it is just for my imagination to play in! 😂 A whole level or area for guest rooms, because being a good hostess is important to me, I am a bit of a Hobbit personally, and this style your area working in clearly is not 😆, however I think the division of areas still work because it is a living area meant for more than one person yes? Pantries and kitchens, dining hall and private diving areas, studies, music rooms, libraries, etc I know this isn't a popular thing, because we all love to know where our villagers are when we need a specific one, but I love naming mine and letting them roam in a safe space. I don't like to see them locked up personally, although I know it is handy. Smaller areas that you wouldn't mind living in if you were them perhaps? Anyhoo, I adore your base. No need to apologize for any of it in my opinion. You are lovely and there is an amazing amount of work put into this already. Looking forward to seeing your progress! I love the updates to your base. It looks like a whole place now instead of a collection of towers and wireframe. I am seeing it as a Skiing Lodge or a resort of some sort. You should make a floor into a hotel. Those illagers do have a secret. If you can get them to break their crossbows they will become docile like villagers. They can be the hotel staff in their matching uniforms which incidentally go well with your cold aesthetic. You should design some hotel rooms for visitors because there might be another server collab in the future.

The reason the axalotls are trying to get out of the pond is that they like to be in water that is between 2 and 6 blocks deep. If they are in only 1 deep water they want to get out and find something a little deeper. Love the "flowers" - great colour combinations. Base is looking even more fab.

Axolotls stay in the water. They very rarely get out, and if they do, they crawl right back in. They're also one of the easiest mobs to name, as you just need to get them in a bucket and use the Anvil, no name tag required. I'd love it if you named one Chad.

@FalseSymmetry: My suggestions for axolotl names come from Disney... ...Hughie, Louie, Dewey, Daisy & Donald :) As far as additional ideas, I'm not sure... ... I don't know what you've planned for those concentric rings that you built in the sky, but I'd like to suggest that a solid circle of glass with a radius of 8 blocks could be built at the vertical build limit, as a 'roof' above a floor of lower half slabs, with 2.5 blocks of air in between. Rim the roof with upside down stairs to prevent accidentally falling, & you can fight phantoms effectively by preventing them from reaching you from above. By attacking at your level, their deaths will force their drops to land on the slabs for easy pickup. The resulting membranes will repair your elytra, or you can sell them to the other Hermits.

Awesome Episode! Love how the base is coming together! You could call one of the Axelotl "Frog" for a few giggles (also then you'll have a frog in your base :) With the pillagers: You can "pacify" them (make them break their crossbow), then you can use them as decoration, or shop owners or something :) Or maybe even security guards :) Just be careful if any iron golems spawn, he will kill them. Also love the Ice overhang! Could maybe also be nice to have some corners where snow is just piled up or something.

as much as i love the empires people hoenstly, my fave part was when the cross-over ended, it felt so dead on hermitcraft when you guys were gone n even when you all came back and had visitors from empires the server couldnt quite get back into the swing of things from how it was before, so many projects got put on hold and some hermits havent even uploaded hc videos like hypno, feels like the major break almost ruined the season :(
