If you get annoyed by the Roku tv menu every time you turn it on, you can go to Settings, power, and change to to always start on the hdmi your cameras are on.

Are the plastic light blocking widgets something you made in house?

No. I purchased about 4 years ago. They are no longer made. I'll hopefully be manufacturing them soon

What size (thickness) aluminum piece did you use to block out the other side of the sls hood? The cut piece if that makes sense. I haven't come across a mold for it.
@FalTacUnlimitedLLC3 жыл бұрын
.130 thick
@clockairsoft84553 жыл бұрын
I noticed someone else asked in a separate video about making an RDS shroud of sorts. Have you thought of and/or figured out a way to block for that in a mold? I'm still trying to figure something out. I've ordered an optics cover to enlarge the profile, but I don't think that's enough.
@FalTacUnlimitedLLC3 жыл бұрын
Some molds come with optics integrated in. Some people have cut the sight channel off and put a block of wood there and formed around it. Comes down to how much time do you wanna spend on it
@clockairsoft84553 жыл бұрын
@@FalTacUnlimitedLLC that's a really good point. I'm trying to decide if I should buy a mold and cut a block of wood or do it with my handgun that has the optic on it. What would you recommend?
@FalTacUnlimitedLLC3 жыл бұрын
@@clockairsoft8455 block of wood is safest. You may damage the rmr glass under pressure
