i love how this video shows that snowboarding is not about doing the best and biggest tricks, but its about having fun doing what ever. i think this will inspire riders to just let loose and have fun with mates rather than trying to be the best. it certainly did for me.

Yeah it is MUCH easier to learn if you can skateboard well already. I learned much faster than kids who didn't skateboard before when I first started. Honestly snowboarding it self is easier in terms of getting to the level for just cruising, it's all in the technique and falling hurts less. Obviously once you involve jumps, speed, and tricks it's a total different ball game.
