Japan isn’t as strict with what kids can use or see (to my belief) America and other countries (especially Germany) were stricter with what kids could see

The Famicom was litteraly a computer It had a Disk Drive, a Keyboard, a tape recorder, a microphone, an internet modem, it was the Swiss Knife of its time

The Famicom was more powerful then the Atari. I remember getting it for Christmas from our neighbors and it was the best Christmas of my life, but my dad didn't buy me cartridge for it to get away from paying money.

Building your levels is pretty cool. The Wii/WiiU/3DS Virtual Console versions fix the save feature.

Yeah, that toy gun would not fly nowadays. Kinda cool it had a holster for "Wild Ginman" though. (The first light gun/Zapper game.

Because the us and European governments are pussies about anything that looks like a real gun, even if it's got a long wire connected to it and works on a console, why do you think the nes zapper had its colour changed to orange?

Fun fact: game costs 4500 yen in 1984, so it was around $18, which today is will be around $42.

The look of the light gun, holster and all, kinda harkens back to the original Wild Gunman arcade machine which used twin 8mm projectors. I believe the creators of the game got the idea from a scene in The Great Train Robbery.

@chaofreak8 The first Famicom controllers were with soft rubber (square) buttons, but they could were down easily so they revamped the design, and they updated to the hard round buttons which they also used in all NES controllers later.

What is the game called at 1:27 I remember playing this one where you would fight and try not to get caught when police drive by, you would stand on a corner and whistle like nothing going on lol...My dad bought the one game cartridge with tons of games on it (bootleged?).I remember it had a super mario bros version where blocks would phase in and out, so it was tricky. I still love the maroon/gold/black gamepads to this day.
