It's kind of the last big "The industry is shifting hard" milestone before the end of the Famicom. I'd say the next one is the release of the PlayStation and that comes six months after the last Famicom game is released.

2:03 I suppose that might make this some of the best licensed Famicom games not by Konami or Capcom.

Character Soft games are pretty underrated, that's for sure. Maybe not my favourite from the late Famicom era (Capcom and Hudson in 91-94 were super-rocking), but CS titles were pure fun ☺

This game is super cute, and the Sanrio games are shockingly good! I especially like the Nintendo collaboration Hello Kitty World (see you next year.) Another refreshing thing is seeing a Famicom game sold for a budget price for the first time in.... well, almost a year? Granted, it's a cheaply made PCB using the absolute smallest bonded rom chips (covered in epoxy,) but there's been plenty of games sold for terrible prices that are worse than this.

Scitron assisted in development? That's interesting. I recognize the name as a publisher of video game soundtrack albums from that same era. As far as the game itself, Hello Kitty is cute but I'll pass. The only falling-block puzzle game I've even mildly enjoyed was Yoshi's Egg.

This mechanic plays exactly like panic bomber, though that one has more features than this, and 3 tiles instead of 2.

I was gonna say, so getting a bit of Sanrio Carnival: The Grand Master in the game?! I might do okay at that mode but I'm no TGM expert. it does seem kinda fun maybe one I should be on the lookout for.

There's additional hardware between the original SG-1000 and the Mark III, which is why the Mark III is three.
