No, that's not a mistake. Officially they spell the title with hiragana.
Famidaily is my attempt to catalog all of the commercially released Famicom games.

I don't think I've heard of this one! neat to see the tricks you can do with his boomerang hat thingy, though. shame the rest of it didn't seem to come together as well.

So it's just Wagyan Land, but worse? I have to say that I never really liked Wagyan Land that much, so this game probably wouldn't be much to my liking. And yeah, Maka Maka is something else; even if you ignore the plot etc., it has bugs and glitches galore.

I never played Wagyan Land much (the language barrier with the boss fights put me off), but I played through this one and liked it quite a bit. I would say that EIM's other game is probably better but I'd still recommend playing it at least once.

The boomerang mechanic here seems to work a lot like the boomerang frisbee from Sunsoft's Looney Tunes game

I like Time Zone! If you're going to copy, copying Wagyan Land is a good idea. Of course, it's not as fun as Wagyan, but it's a C+ cute game and that's usually good enough for me.
