First time I ever seen anything on my disease on KZbin so thank you I am one of four in my family to have this disease, but only one of two to survive it past age of 30 my brother and I both have this he was stage four cancer and I was stage two I had my complete colon most of my small intestines, rectum and anus removed and now the polyps are in my mouth, my tongue and my stomach, which I have to go in Six times a year to have the worst ones removed just to keep them from going cancerous, I have not done in five years though because it’s just obnoxious to drive 2 Hour Dr. to Phoenix from where I live just to have them do this procedure to me, Our father died at our grandmother died at 50 and I just had my fourth anniversary Valentine’s Day of my colon and everything yanked out of me for long time I hated it and I had some kind of syndrome where I felt the bag in the stoma were foreign and I tried to rip it off all the time but now I’m accepting of it but last 15 years and doing very well And appreciate it now we’re normally if you’re not in the forest like I am with my horses I do not have to pull my pants and go to the bathroom. I just pull the front down a little bit empty the bag and a hole in the ground and cover it up and I’m Like done!! Voila, and I also have Gardner syndrome and I already had one does my tumor developing so I had to have a non-estrogen body by having hysterectomy and no estrogen replacement because it fed the tumor. All that wasn’t cancerous. They have been known to reach 250 pounds and this does my tumor was right near my stoma, my doctor stop counting my tumors and polyps at 7000 and he said he barely got in there with a call exam so it really is a shitty disease. I’m just thankful I didn’t have any children I met people in my acceptance class that lost grandchildren at age of 12 and a daughter at the age of 30 so I’m glad I never had children.
