I feel I saw this special as a kid, and genuinely thought it was supposed to be a Tail Spin special. At that age, changed names didn't bother me at all so long as the characters looked similar, since I would just account that to being a necessary part of telling a specific story.

The "12 Days of Christmas" one was something far more entertaining than "Noel", which Phelous covered. Though that stop-motion Santa Claus special is freaking bizarre. But Christmas DOES take place during some of the "Harry Potter" movies. This isn't the last time Ed Asner and Betty White have played Santa and Mrs. Claus. :) ("Elf", "Prep and Landing" series) Also, Opus is awesome. And that running gag about 'wassailing"/"waffling"...

There are two ways that the "Joy to the World" segment of the Festival of Claymation could have been done: 1) a log of clay carefully molded to make all those different features in the middle, and then sliced through to make each frame 2) simply smearing the blobs of clay into the different shapes.

11:19 For "Nick and Noel," The curious thought occurred to me, wondering where they found a full wedding dress in time for a spur of the moment, Christmas Day wedding. Then I realized that she's marrying a single father...very possibly a widower. That's, ah...an almost Burtonesque level of "re-gifting," I have to admit.

I LOVE A Wish for Wings That Work. Heck, I just love Bloom County in general. Politics usually go over my head, but Breathed's sense of humor actually makes his political jokes funny even for me. "I might as well be a dung beetle! Or a fly-infested worm-infused molded mildewed SCRAP OF ROTTEN BANANA! Or a network executive." XD I also enjoy Christmas is Here Again myself. Yeah the songs need improving - though I do laugh whenever Krad says that he'd rather do a dance than be good and his selves end up doing the dance - but I do like the characters (at least the goodguys). Plus I'm kinda a sucker for orphan stories, since I'm planning on adopting kids in the future.

The ironic fact of the Nutcracker Prince is that it is the only one that is close to the original story. The story within a story about the brat Princess and the MOUSE Queen is a big part of the original version.

The Story of Santa Claus still is shown on CBS. Christmas is Here Again doesn't look perfect, but I do like the story, especially the part about Santa's sack being made from Jesus' swaddling clothes. Too bad that they couldn't show it on T.V., because the Atheists would think it's "offensive" and the Jesus freaks would think it's "blasphemous". It would be nice to see something like that on Cartoon Network especially, since all they have are shows like Teen Titans Go! literally teaching kids to be lazy and disrespectful.

I've seen some of these. I saw Christmas Is Here Again a few days ago. It was on YTV, an otherwise terrible Canadian network if not for some of the Christmas specials they have. I just heard the songs and felt my ears bleed. Another thing is just how one dimensional the villain is. Then there's the talking animals. Aside from the reindeer, I wasn't really a fan of them. Other than that, it was pretty okay.

There's one Christmas cartoon I'd wish they'd put back on. Jingle Bell Rap. This one's about four Beatles like dogs. One of the dogs, Rollover had a fight with his dad about his band career. Dad did not want him to spend his time being in a band! To make up with Dad, Rollover comes back to town to see his father and someone gives him the impression that his father died. But there's a big secret about Dad. And Rollover gets a big surprise just before he performs his song, Jingle Bell Rap.
