A genuinely moving scene, closure is deeply helpful.

One of my previous jobs was to research war diaries to find potential locations of buried bodies of soldiers so the remains could be taken home and given a proper burial. It really hit home that there are no winners in war. I'm glad to hear these soldiers were reunited with their family after so long.

Thank you so much, Ms. Nash, for bringing these children and fathers together at last. May these gentlemen rest easy until they are reunited again. 🙏🏻

I was really surprised by how grateful even today South Koreans are for all those who came to help defend their freedom.

Not just the older generation I met a lot of Korean university students 5 years ago and they were exceedingly complimentary of all those who helped defend South Korea.

My grandad almost fought in the korean war, but luckily they signed the armistice just as he got there. It's sad that even 70 years later it's still never officially been resolved and now the kim regime is even fighting an acrive war in Europe.

Your job is not to travel half of the world to overthrow a regime…..the Korean War should have never happened if the Americans did not cross the 38th parallel

Little is known about this war amongst the western public (known as “the forgotten war”), but 3-4 million civilians were tragically killed. USA Air Force general Curtis LeMay, head of the strategic air command during the Korean War, estimated that the American campaign killed 20 per cent of the population. “We went over there and fought the war and eventually burned down every town in North Korea,” he said. Perhaps that puts today’s challenges in some kind of context 😐

This is nice. It may sound off topic but I chanced on this cool translator that does everything and more of what a translator should have, name is Immersive Translate and one thing that can really help is it’s new feature, which lets you create a custom AI expert for translating anything. Thank me later, it's gold.
Which Korean War, the one we're seeing in Europe right now?

I never knew my great grandfather who was killed, blown up and vaporised (no body) in the First World War. My gran was just a baby and never knew him. ALL of the males on that side of my family in the North of Ireland were wiped out in that war. I never knew any of them, yet I have cried at the waste of these young men, my flesh and blood, in an unnecessary imperialist war, just as I weep for the Palestinian people today. I’m saddened your lack of insight, as it’s unusual in your community Fahid. Muslim people that I know are very warm, generous and understanding.
