Nibimocs thanks for watching! You're right, a nice hike. Very pretty. We had planned for more miles but went ahead and changed it to fewer miles due to the forecast. It worked out pretty good despite the shorter hiking durations. My husband had problems sweating losing electrolytes, so I'm glad we did the shorter trip. Alot of Gatorade and Nuun for him.

@@MamasBasecamp It definitely was a hot summer. Good call on cutting the trip shorter.

Nice outing ! Some fantastic views and camera work. The sunsets were awesome ! I’m not a big fan of hot weather backpacking anymore, I’d rather save that for the autumn, Thanks for sharing ! Peace ✌️

@@chuckreetz2953 also wondering about the family trip from Little Indian Sioux to Lac LaCroix, did you have any trouble getting campsites? It was busier than I expected from our EP Moose River South.

Mama's Basecamp it wasn’t too bad, camped on lower pauness and loon actually. Then did day trips. Campsites were nice and clean as well.
