Shadmehr and his parent are staying at the newer house. Yesterday while Hassan was painting its door he told the child that he is painting his door. Maybe Milad heeded the viewer's advice. It is more practical to spend the money on building their own place. They might be thinking where to build it. The property is huge and I know it will have its own kitchen for Mahin to have her own cooking. For me the family is making it all right. Can't wait for the new house to build.

Ajav was not innocent in their troubles. She could have treated MAHIN more kindly. She did mix words with her daughter in law which were not too kind. If you speak their language you would have known this. They never translated any of her insults against Mahin and I’m glad they did not. Ajav was pretty cruel talking during those last 5 months. It was not all daughter in laws fault. I speak their language and I was shocked at how she talked to her. Many times it was when the camera was focus on the men building those cave rooms and the two women were a little back in the distance. But you could hear then enough to understand what was being said. Mahin got belittled quite a lot especially because she did not know how to make great barko according to Ajav. So let’s hope everyone can get along and treat each other nice. A mother in law needs to make her son’s wife feel welcome and remember the new wife is inexperienced in cooking many times. It was not always about cooking, she constantly told Mahin what to do for the baby. It was Mahin put his shoes on, Mahin dress him nice, Mahin you did not put his pants on properly. I heard this daily those last 5 months but it was not on the screen/translated. They were close enough to camera that you could hear her. There were many personal insults too toward her daughter in law. One time on an outing the mother in law told Mahin to go change because her bright colors were not appropriate. I never understood that because in Iran bright colors are normal and usually expected. She even went as far once and told Mahin that she had dirty hair and needed to wash her hair more often. You don’t say those things.

I see the entire family back together again. I am so glad that Milad and his wife are able to be together and raise their family. Mothers are like bears and they protect their family, but when you support your son’s marriage, you need to accept his wife as well.
