It makes laundry a million times easier! It used to bug me so much that they weren’t folded. But, once I accepted that they weren’t ever going to stay folded anyways...I stopped even giving it a second thought!

Nice vlog arianna! Im a mom of 8 and we also use the family closet only for the 4 youngest though. 4 oldest 12 and up are on their own. My reason for the family closet is that little kids pull everything out of their drawers and make a mess, and we have 3 floors in our home and it just logistically makes sense to dress them in the laundry room in the morning . I would recommend a family closet set up for any mom who struggles with laundry and it cuts out a useless step of carrying laundry from the laundry room to another room. We also hang up all their clothes, except pjs.

Months ago, your video inspired me to stop folding and my laundry stopped piling up! I am beyond thankful for that video. I don’t think I will ever go back to washing everyone’s clothes together though. We have a top of the line brand new washer and dryer, the washer has smart sense and unless we choose it, it doesn’t use hot water, and it only uses the amount of water that is necessary, it’s very energy efficient. I wash my cloth and my youngest cloths and bedding. My eldest washes her own clothes from start to finish, my son gets help to ad soap but otherwise washes his own from start to finish and my husband washes his clothes and towels. We all have our jobs and this works so well. Now I need to get the energy to clear out my master closet. Our home doesn’t have a lot of room for storage and we park in the garage so everything goes to our closet and I’m over it.

I just wear T-shirts year round 😂 if it snows put on a coat 🤷🏻‍♀️ interesting to see how people switch for seasons though lol

For some reason it never occurred to me that I could have a capsule wardrobe for warm and one for cold, the thought of me getting rid of so much and not really having enough to wear for either temperature scared me and prevented me from doing it. Looks like I know what I'm going to do today!

I wish I was experiencing some spring. I'm in north Georgia and have 3" of snow on the ground and it's still coming down hard. I've tried the no fold method bc I'm a mom of 6 ages 9, 6, 4, 3, 1.5, and due in 3 weeks. So it would make things easier. But I just can't not fold stuff so I teach my kids to fold their own stuff. If they rummage through a drawer looking for something then they have to fold it all back. Plus the only things we put in drawers is undies, socks, pjs, and play clothes. All tops, bottoms, dresses, ect get hung up. When I do laundry I wash and dry and they sort and take their own clothes to their rooms and hang and put everything away. I just do my 1.5 year olds clothes along with my husband and my clothes.

Flat sheets are the worst! 😆 They just get tangled up when I sleep. I always donate them immediately if it comes as a set.

You know what I use flat sheets for? Not our beds , but with 8 kids when sickness strikes it's bad so we use them on the couches to protect them from the mess.

I use flat sheets for the backs of my quilts. Also fabric is really expensive. Also people’s time. Hand made blankets are going to be expensive and $300 for a king (at least for a quilt) would be in the low end of pricing.

The proof is in the pudding. I had a jean dress on with a blazer over it during the day. My sweet male friend commented on how lovely I looked. Later after we got home I took the blazer off and changed shoes and he thought I had a completely different outfit on! Capsule wardrobes do work! Nobody will be able to tell. Haha!

I have never found the perfect bra. I love my kindred bravely Terry night nursing bra. They come in “busty” sizing. But I really only wear it in the house because there is no padding at all!

Target sells muslin blankets. I love them! It’s all we sleep with unless it chilly and we toss a warmer blanket over top.

I’ll have to look into those! I feel like I saw their gauze blankets last time I was there, but they snagged much easier than other fabrics I had seen? Or maybe it was not as thick. I can’t remember! But I feel like I recalled seeing them there and didn’t want it for some reason. I’ll have to recheck!

Do you have problems with the girls' clothes being wrinkled? I am a little OCD when it comes to wrinkles. Lol. I know with folding, creases can be an issue, and if they're going to mess up the clothes anyway... so it's creases or wrinkles. I don't have kids, so I don't deal with this. I do have nieces and nephews, so I have a little experience with kids and clothes, but I have never completely dealt with the laundry thing. I hang all my shirts because I hate wrinkles. It's a curse. 😂😂
