oh my goodness this broke my heart into a million little pieces.. I go with my daughter and take my grandkids to the splash pad and i cant even imagine what horror they faced that day and the strengh of the whole family espcially the little ones is beyond amazing.. I am so sorry this happend to this beautiful family... Despite everything that happened they have a positive attitude and are not going to LET anything rob them of happiness.. I hope the little boy gains his eyesight again.. HUGS to this strong amazing family.

+alexandrawilson1998 Honestly, I wish that was the case because justice would def. be served, but at about 0:53-1:03 in the very beginning of the video, it mentioned how the suspect took his own life after committing the mass shooting. It would be nice to see him live the rest of his life in jail, but he's no longer out there in the world, either to continue something like this. The real question: What literally causes people to do things like this? Do they have a motive, do they not have a motive? What's their sole purpose in committing horrible acts like these ones? Unforutantely, some are done on purpose esp. if the suspect(s) happen to know the person/people they're going after personally, but for those who do this on say a whim-what's the sole cause of it? What goes on inside one's mind & behavior patterns to be considered a schizophrenic or even a sociopath for others? Is a part of their brain/mind missing like say a "piece" of it in order to be able to function properly in society w/o having random, inappropriate outbursts and/or loud screaming at nothing in public?-as an example. Or maybe something didn't fully develop in one's cortex or something like that. Yes, I'm aware that's no excuse for anyone's behavior esp. mass shootings, but maybe by taking a looking at those parts of the brain & maybe the deeper insides of it can give everyone a better understand as to why they act the way they do & to hopefully help them in a better and more efficient way.

My sympathies to them. With that said, now, in this moment in time, is a good time to lose his sight, as the older kid will see again. This is because of all of the medical reseach, ideas, and technology coming around the bend in the next 25, 50, even 75 years from now. For example, right now, they are experimenting with hooking a camera to a blind person's glasses and wiring it to his or her brain. I absolutely foresee him regaining his sight within the next 40-50 years.
